Fight Night Round 4 has problems

In Fight Night Round 4 you can do illegal blows to escape being knockout . That should be tweaked.

illegal blows shouldn't even be in the game....they should be removed not tweaked.

Don't use illegal blows then. I'm pretty sure this feature was in past Fight Nights and I never used it.

Seriously, if Tyson had a "bite ear" button, I would hit it once to see what it does, but I'd never touch it after that. It's supposed to be a boxing game.

A lot of people online double head butt to keep from being knocked down. It stops the action with a ref's warning cut scene and they aren't stunned when the camera returns. They still have a lower health and stamina at times, but it is a trade off they are willing to make if they are a body spammer as most fights don't go to decision.

Not only that, but you nave to spend points on damage instead of stamina.

"not hitting" the illegal blow button does not prevent others from doing it to you.

Yea, this is boxing my friend. Head butts and illegal blows are just a part of the sport...not necessarily the game.

I agree, but after six headbutts the other guy is not DQ'd. With no DQ, I'm surprised they aren't headbutting the entire fight. The ref will stop it earlier from all the damage.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but you get DQd after about 3 headbutts and/or illegal blows?

Is it a DQ or just a point reduction?

First it's the point deduction. The one right after that is the DQ. But I cant remember the exact number for which. I want to say the 2nd is a point deduction and the 3rd one is the DQ.

                      Probably not online.

In offline, with the Referee Awareness all the way up, I've been disqualified as early as the 2nd attempt.

I had an online ranked match were I got a Win via DQ in the 6th rd. The guy headbutted me 5 times with one warning call and two point deductions.

If someone spams it on ya online, just keep your cool! The ref will eventually catch it and the points should be in your favor.

Re: Fight Night Round 4 has problems

I hate those illegal headbutts! I was fighting this guy yesterday who had a pretty good record. I'm like 50-30 online myself and ranked like 1900-2000. Anyway, he had Duran and I had Sweet Pea.

He knocked me down twice in the fight, but I withstood the onslaught. In the later rounds, I'm coming back and 3 times I was on the verge of knocking him down. The first two times, he clinched. The last time, he headbutted me. He proceeded to run the rest of the fight (I had less health than him and our stamina was similarly low).

I end up losing, but I had won the last 3 rounds (4 overall).

His reasoning for headbutting me "I'm ranked in the top 400, so I couldn't afford a silly loss."
