Yeah - he's be whining about this since the fight. The guy cannot take a loss like a man, he's got to moan and make up excuses.

They caught one of the cornermen giving a massage to GSP like they always do, except he had some Vaseline on his hands still. The athletic state caught them immediately and wiped him down with a towel to get it all off.

BJ just needs to shut his mouth for once... Or maybe open it an say "GSP, you beat me. You're the bigger, stronger fighter and I had no answer. You fought great, and you deserve to be the champ. Thank you."

He'll never give credit to another fighter that beats him, though. It'll always be - "oh, the judges were wrong. Oh, I had bad ribs. Oh - I wasn't feeling well. Oh - the other guy cheated."

As if no other fighter has had a close call go against them, or as if no other fighter has ever fought with an injury or while not feeling 100%.

BJ is just a massive whiner.

Look at what he's doing - he's just massaging his shoulders and back like he always does. He just happened to have used some grease on his face (as every fighter does) and forgot to wipe his hands off or something. And you can see the guy in the suite wiping anything off of him.

I don't think vasaline played a role in the decision, but you never know. GSP got out of BJ's guard with ease. There were times when he'd just slip out of a triangle attempt without using much effort at all. BJ even complained after the first round that GSP was unusually slippery. Again, don't think it mattered in this fight, but you just never know.

You know, it probably didn't make a difference in the fight. GSP is a bigger, stronger fighter, and dominated the fight like he should have. The problem is, rules are rules for a reason. They don't just make this stuff up for the hell of it. I can see both sides of this, but hopefully BJ just lets it go, and returns to his usual weight class.

I saw something on Yahoo's MMA section, basically saying it had no bearing on the outcome of the match (obviously), but it's not something that should be allowed/tolerated. Now BJ's just whining, but it's not something they should let go on....

After watching bits of the fight and seeing Penn's legs just sliding off of GSP's shoulders and back I started to buy into it but cooler heads prevailed and whats done is done and its time for Penn to move on. I will admit though that I can see where a hardcore Penn fan might wonder since GSP had such an easy time passing his guard as well as avoiding any sub attempts in the process, but nothings going to get changed anyways and if it did I cant imagine there is any Penn fan in the world that would be happy having it changed anyways, I know I wouldnt. Let GSP go fight in his own division and let Penn go fight Florian and we can all move on at this point.
