Has Nash's window with the Suns closed?

I happen to think so.

I dont know who you can accredit the final dagger but I do agree with something JA Adande said. They dont do anything well anymore. They dont outhustle, they dont out defend, they dont shoot better, they dont run better than anyone to the point where they stand out in any category.

I know some will blame Kerr in the Marion deal, but I do disagree with that because Marion wasn't the breaking factor. Porter may also have alot to do with how funky they look. Its not that they lose games but the manner of the loses are pretty telling.

At some point your team has to evolve. If it doesn't you stagnate or fall behind... which leads me to one thing

Robert Sarver. The guy penny pinched and traded high 1st round draft picks and players for dough in his pocketbook. Instead of having Andre Igoudala on his team he now has to make due with Matt Barnes and a lack of real depth.

Whats your thoughts on the Suns

They traded the rights to Luol Deng, Rajon Rondo, and Nate Robinson for basically nothing. Stupidity caused this.

Yeah, Nash needs to get out of there and play in another up-tempo team that has a shot at a title. Him in LA or somewhere like that would be absolutely nutty. He can't play in this slowed down offense, it totally ruins all the good things about his game when they're running halfcourt sets.

Phoenix closed their own window, but yes, I think it's closed. Amare and/or Nash need to get out while they can or the team needs to change philosophies once again and get back to running and make Shaq a secondary focus off the bench or something. No easy solutions for them right now.

Uhh, yes, he is done. He looked like he was slowing down last year in the playoffs. He no longer has that never ending motor, that extra bounce off the pick and roll, that dashing/penetrating ability that CP3 has..

With that said, the two-three year run he had with Matrix, Amare, D'Antoni.. I totally validate his back to back MVP's. Nash was what CP3 is today.

He looks a couple steps slower now. Without his perfect complement in Matrix [and now with a halfcourt player in Shaq] things look too cluttered and the run and gun/spread the floor for Bell, Tim Thomas, Q, for 3's are now just a fond memory.

EVEN IF THEY HAD MATRIX THIS YEAR THEY WOULD STILL PROBABLY NOT BE A TITLE CONTENDER. So don't blame it all on management.

Re: Has Nash's window with the Suns closed?

I think Nash's enthusiams as a whole is gone and that's why he's slower in a sense. Yes he's not a spring chicken but it matters when you feel like you're actually making progress. They looked just as dead internally before the Shaq trade.

Porter is absolutely sucking as a coach right now... Amare want's the be the man, and the offense still falls apart when Nash is out. A terrible thing to rely on one guy to do everything. I remember him talking about playing for another team this past summer when his deal is up. He should be looking for that windown becuase Sarver completely botched up what could've been a contending team to this day.

I remember those days when Nash was in his prime with STAT, Matrix, Bell, Tim Thomas, Q, and Joe Johnson. That was awesome
