Re: HR Tag

I don't hate it but I certainly don't love it either. I mostly just don't think about it. I can see why a video game maker would want to add things like this each year, to keep things fresh but I would also like to see this as optional. I imagine I might wind up toggling it off eventually if I could. It's a hard line to straddle for developers to satisfy people who want a baseball experience and people who want a video game experience. Making it optional would have satisfied both. I feel like they dropped the ball on this one, when it should have been an easy no-doubt 500 foot homer.

Re: HR Tag

Not a fan at all in its current implementation. I’m very much a ‘replicate a broadcast’ type player. This detracts from that and is very arcade.

You might as well add flames to the ball too IMO.

If it was done on a replay, it’d be much more tasteful.

Re: HR Tag

I chose delay, but would love for it to be on a replay and not on the first view.

Careful you may just give SDS an idea to do that for 26.

Re: HR Tag

The HR distance is already on the HR overlay that pops out of the scorebug.

So I say remove it and leave it on replays though.

Re: HR Tag

I love it. I love when sports games add new things visually.

Re: HR Tag

I think the arcade aspects should be left for DD , that’s just my opinion. Let there be a DD presentation and a Sim Presentation. It’s like the HR replays at the half inning where all it shows is the hitter swinging not the actual HR. Like let Broadcast presentation be a Broadcast presentation. When you do the swing only replay or the HR distance tag ? You kill the immersion, once again just my opinion
