Confirms some (head) coaches are in.

They're not gonna put Kirby Smart and James Franklin on the cover for no reason.

Looks terrible but I couldn't care less about the cover. Nice to see the HCs on the cover. One would assume that means they'll be including real coaches in the game. Hopefully they got all HCs at a minimum and it doesn't limit editing even further.

Also hope it means the coaches play a bigger role and will actually be smarter to play against.

It would be awesome if they have all the head coaches and most, if not all, of the coordinators.

Yeah, could care less about any type of cover. It could be a cover with the Arkansas State Mascot for all I care lol. I do like that current College athletes are being used. I do think that’s Reggie Bush in the front as well. I do hope that they added most of the remaining College Mascots. Hopefully this means that College coaches are in. For coaches, it shouldn’t be any money issues. Lane Kiffin(who’s on this cover) said he would do it for free. Being on the Cover and the game in general, is a great recruiting tool for the coaches. This can reach young 13-18 year old athletes and them seeing their faces in the game is a great recruiting tool.

Hopefully this also means that Coach carousel is overhauled

Not going to get my hopes up for Bill Belichick being in the game because he never was in Madden. I guess Jose’ will be back coaching the Tar Heels in 2026.

Saying you'll do something for free and ACTUALLY doing something for free are two very different things. That's also only one coach's comment.

Feels like a pretty big jump to think there's be zero money issues with any coach based off an off-hand comment from one coach.

Last year the first leak was from this photoshoot as someone sent him the pictures. So I would guess that it's legit and they said they wanted coaches in for 26. I've still yet to figure out what a cover is for a digital game.

Bill Belichick and Sean Payton wasn't apart of the NFLCA which is why they weren't in Madden. If EA CFB 26 does have real coaches, I wonder how they go about the licensing. I wonder if they'll go the group licensing or individual route since it'd be a little easier to deal with 134 coaches as opposed to 11,000+ athletes. But, I don't think coaches would want to get equal payouts like the players did

Bill Belichick is a curious case. As I said, it would be a great recruiting tool. He doesn't likely have to be apart of a College coach association. But, does he even want to be included in the game.

I’m highly doubtful that this is the actual cover. I’m sure they were all gathered there to do a photoshoot and that they may have taken the eventual cover image during that time, but I’m betting there will be some other image that is eventually released (likely with post production added) when the time actually comes.

It will be interesting to see which coaches and former players may be included in CFB26, however. And while I take their inclusion in this group to spell hope for their inclusion in the next iteration of the game, the same cannot be said for that yard marker and chain gain pictured. I have little hope that they’ll once again have any cut scenes for first down measurements.

Definitely looks terrible. I like the old covers better.

Might be wishful thinking, but I'd imagine getting coaches may be easier and may snowball some as who wants to be the coach left out of the game when that can be negatively recruited?

Yeah, it'll be a lot easier dealing with 130+ coaches as opposed to 11,000 athletes. Don't know if it'd be a group licensing. Coaches want to be able to reach these athletes. What better way than to have your face in a popular video game. Whether that's Lane Kiffin at Ole Miss or the HC at USM. If I'm an athlete who's destined for a G5 school, seeing the HC in the game can help build a rapport before they meet

As a HC, you may absolutely hate this sort of thing, but at the same time its a recruiting tool. Just being in the game period for these kids is a big part of where they go but if they can see their HC is "cool enough" to do it too? Even more points.

NOTE: I'm not a fan of this but I also accept things are far different than they were many years ago.
