The Show 25: Missing players and possible comparisons

Hey guys!

Next week it's finally the release of the new version of our favorite game. But as we know it's hard sometimes to get into the game that day because there are always some key figures of some teams missing. Either because they came from overseas or because they haven't been in the majors for a bit.

What I want to do here is two things:

1: List the players that will be missing
and
2: Find a comparable player that is in 24 to take as a base in creating those players.

So far for the missing players I have:
- Roki Sasaki, Dodgers (? behind him because we saw him in one breakdown, but just to be sure). Would the closest comparison for him be Yamamoto with a bit more velocity?
- Shinnosuke Ogasawara, Nationals: A scouting deep dive I saw compared him to Kolby Allard or a left-handed Trevor Williams
- Tomoyuki Sugano, Orioles: His comparison I saw was Paul Blackburn with way better command
- Kyle Hart, Padres: That is tough since he changed so much since his last MLB outing. I looked at his pitch type numbers from last season and compared that to MLB pitchers of last season and a close comparison seems to be Kyle Hendricks.
- Ian Anderson, Braves: Chris Paddack was a comparison I could see.

Which other names could be missing next week and are there comparisons that I could work with as a base for those players? And do you have other comparisons in mind for the players I already mentioned?

The others ? Who knows someone like sandy would be added in a month if he was missing and that would suck but in the rule if the player in a minor league game last year only they wouldn’t be in the game ??? That be most of those players except Anderson who was optioned in

We know Sandy is in because he was in the rating reveal as one of the best Marlins players so I would assume all the others mentioned will be in as well.

We have the conformation with Sasaki now, but at the same time we saw in that Nationals Franchise mode video that Shinnosuke Ogasawara is missing. So it's not like they changed something generally in their approach of overseaos players.

I forgot Hyeseong Kim in my opening post, the Dodgers 2nd base man.

Kim is going to start in minors too so don’t expect him added for a while he will have to be a cap

I saw Kim's name on bench of one of the Devs teams during stream yesterday.

Someone has a good Shinnosuke Ogasawara on 2024 already taken a video and will copy it and add to vault tomorrow game unlocks at 3pm for me in Australia (some years they do midnight guess this year they scorew us to match US or I’d do it tonight at midnight. but I won’t be able to play till work and kids in bed at 8.

Oscar Mercado will probably be missing for the Phillies since he played in 2023 but not in 2024. He'll probably be guy high on the depth chart for them in AAA with an outside shot of making the bench.
