      big news for some

      @CFBDirect
Today’s update features a boost to option based offenses with tuning to the pitch mechanic.

This means you will have more consistent success when running option pitch plays in #CFB25

Oregon's Rose Bowl helmets, Chrome with Green Wings (and a Green O on the back).

Kansas State's Rate Bowl helmet, white with their primary logo

West Virginia's Frisco Bowl helmet, Gold with their primary logo.

UNLV's LA Bowl throwback helmet, white with "REBELS"

Toledo's gray jerseys and pants that they wore during the season.

And, an added bonus; an Oregon helmet that they actually never wore. Chrome with black wings and a yellow "O". I'm betting this would have been a look if they played another playoff game.

They 100% toned down the overkill of Aggressive Catch triggering by AI WR’s

Yes, running under/catching over shoulder without triggering a jump-catch attempt animation when they’re overtop the defender

Played against Air Force in Dynasty on default Heisman just to see and they stuck to the Option run game even when down by a score

            Thank you!!!

option game is definitely better now. Almost as good as it was before the patches started.

                  "Tunes"

Nah, they went in the complete opposite direction based on the videos I've seen. Hopefully they can truly fix it for CFB26.

Has anyone tested options now from shotgun. I already find (found) them really REALLY strong as is(was). They weren’t broken, but to be honest, they were close. As someone who calls a lot of plays with option pitches (prolly close to 10 per game) I’m worried that if they made them even stronger it could break the game for me by making it too easy.

I don’t wanna download the latest patch if that’s the case, so I’d love it if someone else that has the patch could let me know how effective they are now.

                    Thanx in advance!

FWIW, here are some of the more specific plays I’m curious about (all from various shotgun formations):
                    Speed option
                    Load option
                    Motion load option
                    Wr motion option
                    Wr slot option
                    Favorite Teams:
                    College #1: Michigan Wolverines
College #2: Michigan State Spartans (my alma mater)
College #3: North Carolina Tar Heels
                    NHL: Detroit Redwings

I don't use the shotgun in my offense, but I'll test the pitches out in detail this weekend. I did play a game last night with the updated patch, but I was on the road with a 74 overall QB vs a top 10 team so only called like 1 option.

This was overdue IMO. Stray option pitches that travel 30 yards downfield were a tad much....

lol yea very, I had created a in house rule where anytime those happened. I got to run the single best play in the entire game to get those yards back (pistol train- power option)
