I updated the game today but can't get out of fight camp because whenever I try to recover from training it crashes. I'm starting to dislike this game a bit too much.

Gane Crashing
Playing NBA 2K feels like a job that pays minimum wage and then cuts your pay when you get your Bill's right to make it even harder to succeed. I do not like this game but it's the only one in town.
At cheese, I'm trash. At basketball, I'm great!

Re: Gane Crashing
Was it an existing career when the patch dropped? I started a new career today after the patch and haven’t had any issues. Maybe it’s messed up careers that were started before the patch where they added the ability to change weight classes.Comment

Re: Gane Crashing
I had the same problem with an existing career...won a fight and the game crashed/froze. Reload puts me back before the fight. Also, my boxer put on about 50 pounds...not the guy I created.
Hate to think every patch means "start your career over."Comment

Re: Gane Crashing
So can we confirm that this is just with existing careers then? Has anyone had any problems with one started post patch?Comment

Re: Gane Crashing
I'm not really a fan of the body mass updates to created fighters. Especially on guys in the lower weight classes. Those guys should be skinny and not that muscular. You have to put the body mass at 0 and turn the muscle tone down or else they look like roided out pro wrestlers.Comment

Re: Gane Crashing
I just deleted my pre-patch fighter. I couldn’t get him to look right again through editing. This was why I waited until the patch to start a career (I only got the game last week when all the update stuff was already known).
The one freeze I did have was in the main career menu trying to access one of the tiles.Comment

Re: Gane Crashing
Went back to created fighter...shifted the 6' 2" 260+ pounder that the patch devolved my fighter into to 6'4", 220 pounds. Started career, got through prelim fights and into career proper with no crashes. Excellent!
Now in career hub I noticed my fighter is now listed as 6'2" 261 pounds. I'll have to see if he has reverted to that body type despite the fact that in the prelim fights he was as I designed him. If so, may need to wipe everything out and start over again. Disappointing.Comment

Re: Gane Crashing
I think you're right. I'm on PS5, but reading the Steam discussions on the update, seems PC has the same issue and deleting all old info and starting over might be the only solution. Probably will hold off a few days in case the Devs indicate they will address.Comment
