Re: Sim Passing Stats Issue
In the grand scheme of things this is a minor issue for sim stats. I haven't done a full deep dive on this year's game for sim stats. I ran one sim and had 3 teams with over 50 passing TDs, 4-5 teams with 40+, half the league with at least 30, and zero under 20. All on significantly less pass attempts. This led to multiple QBs breaking the single season QB rating record.
Net passing yards have been incorrect since at least PS5 if not longer. Just another example of EAs lack of attention to detail. IMO, they don't know how to fix the sim engine or it would have been done already. They can't even get their sim engine to line up for the number of plays in a game. In that same sim the QB with the most downs played didn't even average 60 plays a game. -

So in this sense, having the higher completion rate/TDs thrown isn't that big of a problem for me. I can just try to have my CPU vs CPU sliders aim for that higher target.
But this problem with the sacks makes it impossible:
Example advance-week sim situation:
- NYG is averaging 220 net passing yards
- Daniel Jones is averaging 220 passing yards and 5 sacks
I can either have the sliders aim for Daniel Jones to average 220 passing yards and 5 sacks, which will leave the average net passing yards for NYG at ~180
Or I can aim for the NYG to have 220 net passing yards. But if I also aim for Jones to still average those 5 sacks, it means his individual stat sheet will be closer to ~270Comment
