                  Weird trade…Canning gave up most runs in baseball last year and his K rate is falling. Soler has more value than this IMO.

                          I'm assuming Canning will be non-tendered and it's a straight salary dump.

                          Edit: Just saw that the Angels are taking on all of the remaining $26M on Soler's contract.

                                              Cole opts out of his remaining four year deal with the Yankees. Yankees have the option to void the opt out by adding one year at $36 million to his current deal

                                              Sean Manaea opts out of his deal with the Mets

                                              Cody Bellinger will not be opting out of his deal with the Cubs
