Team up mode is gone?! Is there any way to play co-op online vs AI?

So I skipped 2k the last few years waiting for nextGEN version on PC, only to find it looks like team up mode has been removed?!

Unfortunately this is the only mode I play for the last 10+ years, we pick a team and play co-op against the AI.

I just wanted to check if it’s hidden anywhere in these bizarre menus, or if maybe you can invite someone to a head-to-head game and then both controllers switch to the same team?

I have no interest in Park,rec, or any unrealistic microtransaction mode. This was the one saving grace, guess I should’ve checked before I bought it
I think I just wasted $60 😢

I think you can still team up with a friend. But if you're talking about PNO online Team Up. Yes that is gone sadly

Last year I wanted to play team up. But never got into it. I'm the same in that you'll never get me into my player or any of the other "my stuff".

Sadly not. All i want to do is run a MyNBA with a friend.
But i heard pc players can with something called parcel.

The video looks like it might just be head to head with a friend. But if it lets you choose the same side and player lock… That would be even better than team up, as it would have substitutions etc. I can’t really test it on PC, none of my friends are getting it because they think it’s no longer an option..

If you use the video guide above, the game forces you into position lock, which sucks, because that also turns off all substitutions.

The video looks like it might just be head to head with a friend. But if it lets you choose the same side and player lock… That would be even better than team up, as it would have substitutions etc. I can’t really test it on PC, none of my friends are getting it because they think it’s no longer an option..

What's your steam? I'd like to test this too as I have a group of friends who enjoyed teaming up and playing against HOF AI in the last few 2k's, but they haven't bought 2k25 yet either.. I've only tried playing a friend head to head so far, but never tried to do teamup with position lock yet.

Thanks for posting, this actually worked!!!! Not sure why he didn’t include the money shot, but after you chose same team and launch game it goes to TEAM UP loading screen and then you can chose players.

So weird to bury it here, this has to be the strangest menus I’ve ever seen in a sportsgame…but I’ll take it
