They haven’t announced what all will be in the title update, there’s usually multiple levels to their updates. I anticipate gameplay and Franchise updates too.

Who would’ve thought in the year 2024 I’d be more excited to hear about an update than I am for the actual game being released. I was a die hard madden gamer from 2000 until 2016. I’ve been following the posts on here to see when I would buy the series X. Yes, I will not buy the new system until Madden is great again. College football 25 almost has me there, but not quite yet. I remember when it was cool to wait outside of GameStop to get the new Madden at midnight. Those were the days.

I also hope we get new face masks,cleats and other equipment. A lot of the newer masks are missing that players were. Schutt F7 masks need fixing as well. I hope we get more likeness updates too. I'm probably asking for too much though.

Fingers crossed for tuning to increase stat overlays and replays because at the moment, I rarely see any. Booted CFB back up today and they don’t skimp on the player information. Once you switch back to Madden it’s glaringly obvious.

And there were actually two separate patches for PS5 - the first 1.005 was 2.8 GB and the second 1.006, which queued as I tried to start the game, was 457 MB.

Servers are still down, but you can start/play offline franchises.

Play now. 1st qtr down bears ran 8 for 71 yards, and passed 8 times 50 per cent completion...damn it gotta leave it and go to work!

...if you haven't played next gen football games you have no idea what you're missing. Madden isn't perfect and it never will be. But the jump the games took when the XSX/PS5 came out is insane. Do what you want, but I'm telling you right now you're not gonna regret playing M25 and CFB. More likely you'll be kicking yourself for not buying sooner.
