    TC's CFB25 Conference Relegation System

Wanted to post this for anyone who wants an easy blue print for how to set up a relegation system with promotion and demotion, a la the EPL, in CFB25. The basics of the set up are as follows, 12 teams per conference, 11 conference games each, 14 teams still independent. I will be treating conference championship games as huge relegation determiners. I will also view the SEC (Division 1) Championship game as the "EPL Championship", while the CFP could be what you might consider the "UEFA Champions League". Feel free to set up the conferences in any order you like, with any teams you want, this is just a suggestion.

How does it work for the independents if there are only 4 of them, but all other teams are only playing within conference? Do they get only 3 games?

I’d imagine they play 9 FCS teams (which might not even be possible as I don’t think there are 9 different FCS teams) which sounds pretty terrible.
      Favorite Teams:
      College #1: Michigan Wolverines
College #2: Michigan State Spartans (my alma mater)
College #3: North Carolina Tar Heels
      NHL: Detroit Redwings

Good catch. Their schedules were not great, playing way too many schools from the upper divisions. I went ahead and dropped every single division down to 12 teams. The schedules seem better now, still not perfect, but definitely better. Most independents now play just about all independents on their schedule. I will update the OP.

I would just have 1 independent team each year and that is the team that finishes last in division 10. The next season they go back to division 10 and are replaced by the last place team in division 10 the following year. I would split the remaining 133 teams and have division of 13-14 teams.

I know this is like 4 months late. I just literally did mine just like yours yesterday with the Independents. But when you realized the scheduling problem. What did you change everything too?
