UCLA and here’s why. UCLA is the only school with A+ school rating on the 2 school classifications that cannot be changed. Academic Prestige and Campus Lifestyle. Key to keeping a 5* rating as a school is an average of all the school attributes. Certainly helps to have 2, A+ ratings in categories that will not decrease.

But best school to start a dynasty is subjective.

You also get to play home games in the Rose Bowl which is cool.

UCLA has always struck me as a sleeping giant. Great school, great weather, amazing stadium, great night life, cool uniforms, in an area with a ton of talent. Just feels like for decades now they haven't been able to find the right coach.

The other schools that I think fall in the sleeping giant category: Pitt, Virginia, North Carolina, Miami, and Texas A&M. They each have some drawbacks but all of them feel like they should be better than they've been in the past 20 years.

Maryland and Rutgers are two other schools that stand out to me as underachieving based on their geography.

San Diego State has had some success but I think they could be a powerhouse if built properly. And they'll probably be in the reloaded PAC-12.

For small schools, I like Georgia State, Texas State, UTSA, Old Dominion, Florida Atlantic, and Florida International. Those are all pretty much based on geography.

The back of the jerseys stripes being messed up bothers me too much for them. The classic without the name plate you can see the full stripes. LSU has the same problem in game. The jerseys in real life maintain full stripes.

There are 133 good teams to choose to use for dynasty. Yes, 133 is not a typo. I don't include that team to the north.

Never consider UCLA but doesn't strike me as a team to use.

This is a very subjective question as it depends on what you want out of a dynasty. I am in year 1 with Rice and having a great time. Cool stadium, cool uniforms, solid G5 conference, and potential to recruit in the Texas pipelines.

Lol. It’s funny you mention them. While I always have a dynasty where I start as a small school and work my up up to hopefully get my dream job with the boyz in blue, I have always had another dynasty starting at Michigan and trying to rebuild them into something great.

I don’t know if I’ll have a dynasty that starts in Michigan this time around as playing as the defending national champs is nowhere near as satisfying as trying to bring them back to the glory days. If we start at the top, where is there to go but down?

You should limit yourself if you use Michigan to 15 scholarships per year for 4 years. Should be realistic
