I like the camera closeness better. I'm just an old man who needs bifocal view, I guess, haha. I will likely turn off all of that extra stuff possible, once again.

I do have to say "ugh" about one thing for certain, but at least they told us ahead of time in this video - the LB jump is back. I guess, we'll see how that turns out this go around.

Only thing I'll say to defend is the NCAA gameplay between the YouTuber and Edwards was very arcadey to me than what the actual game turned out IMO but yeah I do agree with you otherwise

first - I haven't heard Kspade name in many years. He use to be a big time NBA 2K Youtuber, the fact he is working on Madden now is wild.

2nd - I noticed some passing plays were always wide open.

3rd - Their kicking meter look better than the college football game meter. It is similar, but I must say I like the look of the Madden version of it better.

I wanted to see the kick meter on field goals because that's the issue in CFB25 - kick offs are fine, but field goals are jacked up. Not having the meter look like Pong on meth will be most appreciated.

I can actually notice the trajectories are better and different between QB's. I think the extra zip on bullets are why everything to the sidelines looks easier / wide open more so. I will be anxious to see Lamar Jackson and Aaron Rodgers' shotput throwing styles - how those trajectories have changed.

Being able to change the depth of routes is huge. That alone might wind up the biggest enjoyment.

I can't stand watching YouTubers play the game. Watching this Henry guy constantly rolling left with Mahomes when there was no pressure was maddening[emoji57] just stay in the pocket!

I think it looks great. The way I play I am not super worried about the high scoring. I am sure I will have games like that and some lower scoring. They were also going for it every fourth down and going for 2. I only do that in situations where it's warranted. I'm not going on 4th and 10 unless it's end of game.

Love the running this year and the bounce off moves. Also similar throwing and placement like CFB. I loved when Parson was mad at Dak for that overthrow. It was a "perfect" miss. Not too far overthrown but enough he couldn't catch it. I hope to see more of that.

One handed are a little overdone but again for me I will probably rarely if ever use it as my stick skills and brain aren't quick enough together to do it. It's why I almost never control catches because I can't do it fast enough.

Regardless waiting until after the games comes out to even consider it this year. Likely until the first price reduction. But I am impressed with it.

I will say it's crazy the lack of interaction on the Madden board so far this year with CFB25 out. Years past this thread would already have 100+ responses. I am curious to see if CFB actually cuts into Madden Sales at all and people don't buy both this year.

I guess I am a bit too old school in my ways, but I just want to see the game play. Just shut up and play the game. I don't need to hear all of the back and forth between the two gamers and I sure don't need the EA folks jumping in every 3 seconds pointing out something.

It's just way too distracting and it takes away from actually trying to enjoy the video.

But I have to say that I did not see anything in this video or any of the deep dives that make me want to buy this game early.

Haha, agreed. It was humorous hearing dude pipe up about pocket protection being so different this year, but Henry kept doing 27 step drops and slides where we didn't really find out what any protection choices can do for us when actually just staying "in the pocket." A las, Moody playing it personally will definitely let us all know, haha.

I skimmed through the video and yes, the game looks great even though the quality of gameplay from the user's was...less than that lol one more week! i'll get home around 5:30 from work and I can usually get that night off from the wife/kid to play. I'm off next tuesday too for the Jets training camp which my daughter is coming along also with my mom and stepdad. plus even before all of this, we have the first Jets preseason game this Saturday. FOOTBALL IS BACK.

I hope I didnt make a mistake buying the MVP Bundle. CFB is outstanding. So much going on, on screen in those videos, WOW. I hope alot or ALL of that can be hidden. Clean screen! I tried to ignore who was playing and focus more on players and movement. I hope they didnt..... well instead, I hope the game and franchise is better then whatever that was.

The game played great on the beta. Videos are BS...always have been...always will be.

Play it yourself before you judge.
