For our first game most of us are likely to choose the same ol' same ol, probably our favorite team versus someone we hate, and likely can beat.

So why not do this challenge:

1. Pick your opponent by using the RANDOM team select option in the game
2. Pick your team by using the RANDOM team select option in the game

For your first game you are going to be away as you have to give the computer a fighting chance. You can be home though if you think you would prefer a better chance.

Oh and one last thing, because this method can potentially create an incredibly UNFAIR matchup, and I know some of you may love it for that reason, if you feel the matchup is too difficult for your first game, then you have ONE MULLIGAN.

That means you can do another RANDOM to pick your team. But this can only be done once and you may just end up with a worse team than the first team that the game gave you.

I know some of you guys are REALLY good at these games, far better than I am, in fact as I get older I am getting a bit worse, so I am CONFIDENT that this is going to give you guys some super hard matchups

And hopefully everyone who does it can post back here and tell us how it went.

As for me, I will be doing this for my second game. My first game is at Florida State as I want to hear the war chant in the game and I am not sure who I will use but I likely will pick a really good team that ain't Ohio State to compete.

I will report here for my second game as to who I drew and how it went. I'm scared...

Re: My FIRST GAME RANDOM TEAMS CHALLENGE - Anyone want in?

Haha well the final score looks worse than it probably was but I did get BODIED at the end of the day. It was Tulsa (me) at Syracuse. Their hurry-up messed me up and I did 6-min quarters with no accelerated clock.

I had no consistent pass rush and there were some hijinks throughout.

-Cuse did a fake field goal from 2 and converted to go up 7-0
-I responded with a 61-yd TD to tie it up to end first quarter

-They would fumble on the kickoff, but I would miss a FG
-A passing TD for QB McCord to put them up 14-7 on the ensuing drive
-I'd respond again and then they'd squeeze in one more before half to go up 21-14

-It went off the rails in the 3rd quarter for both teams a bit with them settling once for a FG in the red zone and me putting together a quality drive to end the third at 24-21.

-Then the 4th was an unmitigated disaster with me throwing two picks, one on the final play that they would return for 99 yards to cap off the beatdown. Wear and tear def adds up over the game, which was cool.
