    NHL2k25 (NHL 2k10) x360

Another season has come to pass and another free agency has begun.
I've begun work on my NHL 2k10 x360 roster for the upcoming season. I anticipate these rosters being used for exhibition, season, and playoff mode only.

    Current Status of Roster:
    1st Release: November 6, 2024 - here

    2nd Release: December 28,2024 - here

    3rd release: March 10, 25 - trade deadline - here
    To Do List:
    1. Free agency moves - Done
    2. Trades - Done
    3. Player creation - Done
    4. Finalize rosters - Done
    5. Rate NHL players/skaters - Done (not completed for November 6th release; see release notes)
    6. Rate Minor Leaguers - Done (ratings available on December 28th release; see release notes)

    Notes/Recommendations:
    - How to add to your Xbox when available
    - I do recommend using VeNoM3099's 2021 sliders with this file.
    - Keep in mind, this is a decade-plus old game; Faces, equipment, etc may not be accurate due to restrictions with editing.
    - Goalies are rated using Shogun's goalie edits so, ratings may look incredibly off but, this makes for better gameplay in my opinion.
    - Like older season rosters? Check out the NHL 2k Roster updates thread
What sources do I use for my rosters:
    - NHL/AHL official team rosters
    - NHL Hut Builder
    - capfriendly
    - dobberprospects
    - sportsforecaster
    - various scouting resources
    - dailyfaceoff/leftwinglock
    - PC/Console roster updates
    - Discord roster editing server discussions

    Re: NHL2k25 (NHL 2k10) x360

Just a little roadmap here for how I see this season playing out:

How many releases?: I'd like to get 3 in this season. Again, always subject to change- will definitely be no more than 3 releases.

    Initial first release:
Will come sometime after the 10 game mark for each team.
NHL rosters will be updated with players (positions, jersey numbers, captains), ratings will be untouched from last season for this release
Some minor teams will have some accurate player names but, ratings and positions will not be accurate

    Trade Deadline:
NHL will be updated with all moves and hopefully working my way through player ratings
Continue working on minor league players

End of season (sometime after playoffs):
NHL/Minor league squads ratings completely updated. Hopefully.

You gotta love leeches like this.

Btw, I did some experimenting with 2 teams in a playoff series whereby I bumped up a good number of defensemen's nebulous attributes (e.g., confidence) as well as playing with sliders and team strategies. For the most part, I like the effect and with all defensemen's shooting tendencies maxed out, see them taking more shots, though not necessarily on goal, which I believe is realistic. I have the file if anyone wants to experiment with it.

Interesting, I had put down 2K10 for a few years but I picked it up again because of these rosters and I keep trying to do something about how super slow -- unrealistically in my opinion -- players are when turning or changing directions. No, they're not on concrete in running shoes, but players in most regular speed situations, especially standing still, should be able to just stop and push in another direction. I've got Ice Friction on 100 and it still doesn't have the desired effect. I've thought about cranking Acceleration all the way just to see them instantly change directions, but that will also have bad effects on top speed in a straight line. It's one of the big things in the game I still don't like 14 years later.

              Re: NHL2k25 (NHL 2k10) x360

              Progress update:
NHL teams are up to date through 10/15/24. This includes player positions, styles, team captains, jersey numbers, rookies being created etc. Just working on getting rookies some initial ratings. Additionally, most minor rosters have the correct players and the majority have correct positions (according to official AHL rosters) and player styles. As a reminder, ratings will not be accurate for the minor league skaters.

Things are looking good for a release once each team crosses that 10 game mark.

You know what the problem is with your supposed apology about hijacking a thread that people are trying to keep clean for their own purposes?
                  1. You did this almost word for word in another thread, so you can only be so sorry.
                  2. What you're asking about has absolutely nothing to do with these rosters or this version of the game
                  3. Then you ask another question asking for sliders.
                  4. If you need to make enough responses to be allowed to post your own thread, there are countless threads on generic topics where you can actually integrate and get involved as you're meant to in the forum.

No, there are no rosters for 2K10 on PS2.

                    Re: NHL2k25 (NHL 2k10) x360

First release of the 24-25 season . Enjoy but first, please read the below release notes concerning this file:
                    - NHL rosters are updated with players (positions, jersey numbers, captains),
                    - NHL player ratings (unless the player is a rookie) are untouched from last season for this release
                    - Lines for the NHL Fowards 1-4, Defense 1-3 completed through games from 11/3. Not every team is complete is 100% accurate but close.

                    - Some minor teams will have some accurate player names but, ratings were not done for minor league teams for this release.
                    - Some minor league teams have retired players as fillers.
                    - Due to roster team limits, some players may be in minors or missing from the file
                    - Utah is a created team but, you'll always find their roster as the coyotes roster as well if you wish to play a "what if..." scenario.

**If you can't find a player for WPG,VGK,SEA, OR UT: check the Thrashers or Coyotes (for Utah), their minor league club, or the FA Pool. If you wish to make changes to those teams, as they are created, use the create a team to set the roster you want.
                    - See first post of this thread to see how to get this on your xbox. No, I don't know if this file works with PS3 or RPCS3 save files.

                    - FILE IS NOT FRANCHISE READY BY ANY MEANS. I suggest play now or season mode for this file. Things like contract information, ages, etc cannot be edited which impact players retiring and much more than that for franchise.

                    One last important note
: I also STRONGLY SUGGEST using the "TRADE" option when moving around players on this file as most teams are at or very close to the 23 player limit. At this time, there is no team with the roster glitch making it unable to move players.

I have tested the rosters. Very fun as usual. Great work ;-) If you want i can to change any players for others with cyberfaces more similar for more realism. And reupload the same rosters with same ratings but with other cyberfaces , for example Kreider, Jack Hughes etc.

Fantastic work guys! This game still delivers and it's nice to see it responding to edits and sliders, despite still a few flaws I can overlook.

I would encourage y'all to try the sliders I'm about to put out with minimally editing all Dmen to up their shoot tendency to 100%. Although it may not get registered as a shot attempt, they will try to get the puck through more often from the point.

Team strategies really make a big difference as well. I'm still not sure how the Dmen play better in regards to backchecking and then the zone strategy. I just want them to turn around when they should more consistently.

Thank you, molifox for your edits. Just wanted to check, you didn't overwrite anyone from the minors, did you?
