Let's Discuss Real Motorsport Here
I can see threads on some other sports in this forum to discuss the actual sport rather than the games but I couldn't find any thread to discuss the motorsports. This is why I am making this thread to discuss everything happening in the world of motorsports, from F1 to Nascar and from MotoGP to Indycar, let's discuss them here.FanAmp - A Fun Place for All the F1 Fans! -

It is nice to see McLaren showing some fight as early on in the season, it looked like Max was going to run away with every race.Comment

Re: Let's Discuss Real Motorsport Here
Max was at fault, but they were both driving like ***holes for the majority of the race, it was only inevitable it would happen sooner or later. Very interested to see what happens in Silverstone and if they’ll be just as aggressive.
Regardless, it looks like we’re finally getting some good competition heating up and I’m excited for the rest of the season. Hopefully Charles and Ferrari can figure out their problems, although that’s probably just wishful thinking on my partComment

It will be interesting how they both go against each other at Silverstone this weekend. I am sure there is a some drama on the track during the race and we may see another great battle between these two at the front.
British GP always offer a lot more than the thrilling race action, there will be many music performances happening during the weekend along with drivers personnel appearances, meetups etc. This is a good guide to know what's happening in and around the Silverstone Circuit this weekend.FanAmp - A Fun Place for All the F1 Fans!Comment

I’d prefer none, but I think the selection is fine. Not sure the thought behind replacing Austria with Spa again, but I don’t think either track really suits the sprint format so whateverComment

Re: Let's Discuss Real Motorsport Here
Bonedheaded and unnecessary. They knew pitting Lando first would put him in front and could’ve just as easily had swapped them if that was the end result they wanted. Just makes them look a little amateur-ish and tainted Oscar’s first win. Never the less, I think it’s pretty clear McLaren have figured something out here while Red Bull is slowly losing grasp of the team. Interested to see what happens with them over the next few races and what the summer break brings. If Mercedes and Ferrari can get themselves sorted out to be more consistent, then it should be a good finish to the season and sets it up perfectly for 2025Comment

Re: Let's Discuss Real Motorsport Here
We have drama after the Belgian GP as George Russell has been disqualified after FIA found his car to be 1.5 kg underweight when it was weighed after the race. Russell's disqualification means that Hamilton is promoted to winner.FanAmp - A Fun Place for All the F1 Fans!Comment

Re: Let's Discuss Real Motorsport Here
Another great quali from Lando. Max must be thanking his lucky stars RB were so dominant in the first part of the season as McLaren have pretty much turned everything on its head.
Almost certainly they will take the lead in the constructors after tomorrow's race 😄Comment
