If this is true, then the game will drop on a Friday. If we were to look at how other games drop these days, if there is a Deluxe version, then those that pre-order for that version should get to play 3 days early, like on the 16th? And then the standard version drops on the 19th.

I'm taking a week off whenever it drops regardless, but if true good to know and to go ahead and put time in.

EA officials have continued to decline to *officially* confirm any release date with me, nor do I expect them to soon

Yea I heard its either July 12th or July 19th which are both Fridays. I am hoping that EA does 3-4 days early access as well.

Posters are starting to be put around near campuses. Someone mentioned that they listed a couple players as "Edge". It'll be nice for them to go away from the old DE terminology and go with the more modern position titles

were you able to read what it says ? The few twitter accounts seem to say July 19th wioth reveal mid May, but they seem to be more about being 1st then being accurate

Out of respect, I won't post any of the pics from his newsletter. But I did see someone okst that the full reveal might be May 16th and that they should allow athletes to transfer more than one but there to be balance

Matt Brown is legit. They should use him in the social media aspect. He said he would to be used as one of the Twitter accounts in the game.

Don't get my hopes up like that. I've said numerous times that I hope and pray that EA has finally been proactive for once and used the CFB game and all these years of development to change and fix a lot of the issues that have plagued Madden for years but can't be a priority on an short annual cycle.

If they finally were able to redo positions and depth charts thanks to the CFB game and we see that with Edge being a position, then hallelujah. Finally! I won't hold my breath, but it is interesting EA might have said Edge themselves.
