    Trade Discussion Thread

I couldn't find the normal trade thread, didn't know if that was still a thing.

Starting a franchise with the Mariners (too invested in my Reds in real life to make any trades). Seattle definitely needs bats but I want to be realistic. How likely would they be to deal Castillo for a young bat or two?

Was this bad CPU logic or could Milwaukee actually have need for Choi more than Hoby?

I set up a second, test franchise and I couldn't get the Brewers to bite for the same deal again. Tried a 3rd and 4th test too, to no avail. Kinda feeling bad for accepting it now after originally having zero qualms.
I don't think it's a deal that the Brewers would actually make.

Ok, call me crazy, but I wanna deal for Trout.

Guy has seen what, 3 games in the postseason? I wanna bring him to the Blue Jays to see if he can help them get over the hump.

Only 3 players that are untouchable, are Bichette, Vladdy, and Gausman. I was thinking of a deal around Manoah, Kirk or Jansen, and maybe Tiedmann?

Oh wow, is this a website or something?

I can for sure do that trade. I was thinking Martinez, but wasn't sure.

I'm considering starting over as Seattle and making a couple moves. I may move on from Luis Castillo and separately make a move for Ha-Seong Kim. I would like to keep it realistic, I feel like the Castillo deal would be centered around a young OF and how much would I need to give up for Kim?

It's really tough to think or assume what's realistic or not. I rack my brain over this each and every time I make a move.

With this past offseason and the Jays courting Ohtani, it changed my perspective a little. I encountered my first offseason in 24 and to my delight, there was Juan Soto. I must have spent 10 minutes arguing with myself to sign him or not, with "is it realistic" being the main argument. I know this isn't real life, and a franchise is our own, but in the end I just decided to sign Teoscar Hernandez instead.

I don't even know if anyone is following this at all, but I'll give it a try...

As the Red Sox, I'm only three games into the season but I really want to use someone other than Jansen as my closer, probably Whitlock but I'll also throw some Weissert's and Slaten's way.

What could I realistically get for Jansen? I was thinking that it only seems right to offer him to the Dodgers, but I'm open to anything. I don't have much of a preference on what positions I'm looking for in return, but arms are always welcome.
