• Did EA update the MetLife field to include the Jets or Giants logo instead of the NFL shield? (not holding my breath here)

The Jets throwbacks are in but the helmets are not. EA butchered the pants; the stripe is about double the width it should be.

The NFL logo is still at midfield.

How is CPU vs CPU for PS5? Does the CPU make good decisions calling plays, keeping the chains moving, avoiding sacks by escaping or throwing the ball away?

Are the stadiums more rowdy? How do the fans react?

During preseason games, do you see a big drop-off with backup quarterbacks compared to the starters they replace?

Question on presentation. Did EA scrap the cutscenes of fans in stands in Madden 24? Watched multiple games online and all of the shots focused on the field action with the exception of the stadium pan.

Too bad if they did as I thought it added to the stadium atmosphere and personality of the game in the past few Madden editions.

XSX here playing play now. I my only play call screen options are slim or enhanced.

Any idea why I can’t have my play call screen along the bottom like previously?

I absolutely can’t find an option to change it.


EDIT: so it looks like i managed to buy both versions of the game. When i posted my question it turns out i was not playing the xsx version.

Is the home field advantage / momentum actually out? Someone in the impressions thread they turned it off but it was still in the game. It made 23 unplayable for me so just want to make sure.

Yes. You have the option to turn it off.

You can turn it off in franchise mode. If you like to use Play Now, there is no option to turn it off, which is a shame.

Has anyone played around with the penalty sliders?!saw a post in the impressions thread where the poster said they had cranked them up & was seeing more being called. Can someone try this & feedback the results?

I have everything at 95 except for roughing the passer. I have seen a few here and there, but nothing like real life. Mostly false starts on the offense when you try to hard count. So far I have not seen it draw the defense just the offense. And it is not out of control. So far I have seen 1 holding penalty. I have played a total of 5 games so far, with 15 minute quarters.

1. Are the Lions 1983 uniforms in the PS5/Xbox One Series in the game. I had last year's PS4 version and were in then I upgraded to a PS5 and they weren't.


2. Do they still have the Steelers on the wrong sidelines?
