They lost a big part of their offense this year with Jamal Williams gone. Gibbs could be special but he's an unknown still since he hasn't played a down yet.

My money’s on Montgomery & Gibbs being everything Williams & Swift were and then some. They have an inarguably excellent OL and an extremely efficient passing game. Running backs are a dime a dozen in those conditions.

I mean it's based off the individual ratings of players. Outside of Goff and maybe St. Brown, both of which you could argue could be higher, who is really rated terribly? The lost their 2nd best offensive skill position player to New Orleans from last year. Gibbs may be a stud soon but you can't really blow his rating up too high to start. They don't really have a proven receiver outside of St. Brown that would have a rating high enough for their team rating to go up. Goff probably deserved a bigger jump with his year last year but he is being penalized for an inconsistent career basically. Their offensive line overall is good but Sewell was their highest pff graded o-lineman at 80.6 so they don't have elite lineman individually, just a good whole line.

Basically they are a good overall unit but they don't have a ton of individual talent which is what would push their team rating higher. All the teams in front of them have at least 1 if not more 90+ overall players that boost their team ratings.

I love Jamaal Williams, but y’all are really over valuing him from a talent perspective when it comes to the Lions offense.

True story. I loved Jamaal, but our production with Monty & Gibbs is going to be better than what Williams & Swift gave us. I'm really excited to see what Montgomery can do behind our O-line. The Lions offense collectively was top 5 last year, that's saying something.

Nothing new for defensive playbooks as always. EA need to modernize the defensive side of the ball and the D playbooks.

I know but you said they were overrated so I’m asking how low should they be then
