Yeah, imagine asking for a product that mimics the actual sport it's supposedly representing. The nerve...

Oh waiter? I'd like to order a medium-rare Filet-Mignon please. But make sure it looks and tastes like Fish, because paying for what I ordered is just silly!

So NHL 23 doesn't mimic the game of hockey in anyway? I beg to differ but then again I am enjoying this game tremendously. Oh well hopefully you and others can find a game that you like. I can't imagine hating a game year after year after year and never moving on. Enjoy

Glad you like it. You are (contrary to what you believe) allowed to like something different. Some people like home cooked meals, others go to Mickey D's. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I played and coached the sport for 20 years. Aside from there being players that skate on ice, holding a stick and pushing a piece of vulcanized rubber around. NHL 23 is to Hockey what a Ring-Pop is to a real Diamond ring.

I'm exceedingly sorry if that upsets you. Maybe the one who should be moving on is you seeing as how you got your feelings hurt by someone not liking the game you like? We've accepted that fact that this team, this company, will never get it right. In fact, I wouldn't trust any of them to sit the correct way on a toilet seat, much less make a decent hockey product.

I have currently over 140 games in my library that I adore and (regularly) play. Not one of them is EA's "NHL".

Oh dear! Sounds like I moved on.

              Pity...
