Weird, but for some reason this patch removed the player likeness (beard) for Mitch Haniger.

That’s not even Haniger. It’s the scanned face of a dev that they have been using to replace players who are no longer in the MLB. Can’t remember who it is. There are several of him in the game.

That needs to be fixed pronto. Nick Castellanos and many more were done that way in The Show 21.

Well I have a question about something strange. I do NOT have MLB 22, I have MLB 21 Jackie Robinson Edition though, and it had an update while ago. Thought it was strange that 21 got an update, considering how long 22 has been out. Any ideas what is up with that?

Same here

Started playing a game last night and got to the top of the 2nd and the screen went blank and I was back on the PS5 Dashboard.

Haven't tried again.

Played a franchise game last night with no issues. I’m on Xbox series s though.

I played a couple of franchise games last night with no issues (PS5).

So, it sounds like there could be specific triggers (or randomness)....

In my occurrence nothing out of the ordinary was happening (PS5). The intro was fine and the first inning played fine and at the Top of the 2nd Arenado was in the box waiting for the first pitch of the AB and the game crashed back to the PS5 dashboard.

Just odd.

I’m at work right now but I’m going to have to check my franchise when I get home.

I played the Pirates last night and am sure Gamel had his face scan.

Roster of an in progress franchise?

It’s a roster I keep separate and updated in the event we can import next year. Kurt Suzukis face is gone, but I understand as he’s retired. Austin Pruitt is gone as well.
