Madden Legacy Game Mode

Anyone catch this information?

“Madden NFL 23 will feature a new game mode in celebration of NFL legend and video game series namesake John Madden.

The John Madden Legacy Game will feature some of the sport's greatest legends, some of whom were named to Madden's "All-Madden" team over the years.”

It’s cool that it features legends (I wonder if they have face scans?), a classic madden and even his own stadium.

Other than that if I can’t use the stadium in franchise (like relocation) then it’s pretty much a one and done for me. Kind of feels like a lazy add to me

I’m all for it, but isn’t it basically adding back all madden team like in m25?

This is cool, but I wish they had done an updated version of the Madden Moments (with a cool John Madden achievement photo art like in Madden 11). You could have done some retro Raider games from his coaching days or the legendary Brett Favre 4 first half TD passes with Al and John calling the game. Kind of like 2K is doing with the Jordan Challenges in 2K23. I guess it's better than nothing, but like Therebelyell626 stated above, it just feels like a lazy add on to act like they actually did something to honor John besides just putting him on the cover.

Been trying to locate some more information on this mode and it doesn't seem like we can add these players to current roster and just build classic teams around them.

I wish EA would step up their damn game and give us the same options as 2K gives us.

I always thought there was some kind of lawsuit as to why they couldn't add classic teams back into madden.

But now it seems like they just don't want to put in the effort of adding these teams back to the game.

The least they could is add the players to the FA list like they did in Madden 07 so we can just sign them to a team on our own.

I'm not a huge classic teams guy but if there was a way to use the players, uniforms and stadium with in franchise that would be cool. I mean if they have the rights to certain players why not use them all over? I would have thought they would have hyped this mode more as way to pay respect to John Madden.
