So does anyone have any real opinions of this patch so I'll know whether to download it or not? I'm not hearing much of actual gameplay impressions..just the same old complaining.

I only play offline so it's not like I have to download it. I like how the game is playing after the last patch and some slider adjustments so I just want an honest and knowledgable opinion of this last patch.

It's too bad little johnny can't defend on-line because he hasn't figured out how to defend someone that is zig zagging.
So you cater to people who don't put in the time to learn the game and punish those who put in countless hours tweaking it to mimick the real NBA .

Yeah haven't noticed any difference in the game. When playing My League I still get the glitch when you simcast the AI subs in all big men for both teams. This glitch, which happens 75% of the time, has cost me games on multiple occasions.

I feel the player movement is less controllable... less weighted since this last patch. I have played a number of of games with my sliders , and I can def tell the difference. The players feel a little more herky jerky. Def does not feel the same as it did a few days ago.

With that said I will adjust my sliders again to get the right player movement

The problem is, when you adjust an attribute like a shooting slider it directly effects other attributes of the game. Player movement is one of those things. This is why I don't mess with too many sliders because they all effect the flow of the game.
2k needs to stop catering to online gaming and stick with core gameplay . It's too bad little johnny can't defend on-line because he hasn't figured out how to defend someone that is zig zagging.

In the future leave the game alone . You've tested and designed the game for months on end. If it's not correct , implement it next year and get it right

Lol..it's crazy what they do with all this patching BS. Online at launch it was fine. Aiming mechanic..movement..I liked it. I don't even know what it is now. It just blows now is all I know...and beluba came in here popping off before it released how he was going to try to not change much after launch.

It's like the spoiled kid or wife that says do this do that..you do it..and they walk away indifferent. No one is playing online now.

Why would you be subbing 5 bigs to both teams?
And why would that be costing you games? Your game is coming down to the wire and your reaction is to put 10 PF/C on the court? I hope that freeze glitch is never fixed. And becomes 100% crash and I hope they put it in every 2k from here out

This place is toxic lol. This is the only place I read complaints about men body types and their hair.

98.7pct focus should be on gameplay after the game is released imo

your entitled by your own opinion but with this much patch and still no update about graphics wise, especially when theres nothing really that bad about gameplay just online players having a bad shooting day seems unfair for the rest. we also wanna be heard just like you. peace

It's not easy to pinpoint the gameplay change when playing in the rookie season of myCareer if you grind, your player should be changing semi-rapidly.

The biggest change I see in MyCareer the +1 attributes. Prior to 1.07 when a teammate would ask if you want to participate in a drill, approximately every 3 invitations you would receive a +1 (shot IQ, hands, intangibles, etc.) Whether you declined your teammates offer, failed the drill objective. Completed the objective with a "gold" rating, or even quit halfway through. You would receive a +1 attribute upgrade every three or four times a teammate invited you to participate in a drill in the practice gym. It was predetermined that you would be receiving a +1 more like being rewarded for being in the right place at the right time than rewarded for practicing because you didn't actually have to practice the drill.

Well it's no surprise but receiving +1 after rejecting an invitation to practice has gone the way of dodo and the buffalo

Not only do you have to do the entire drill but it appears to reward you more often the better you perform the drill. I thought first that it was only giving upgrades after gold grades. However I have received one +1 after receiving a bronze score on Boston wing defense drill.. That's 1 /20 approximately. But I'm receiving +1 after I score gold. at least 50% of the time. PLEASE REMEMBER this is only for the drill that your teammates will ask you to join, which only give the few attributes listed above and whatever attributes I missed are earned in the Boston drills, 2 on 2, 3 on 3, mid-range shooting, 3 point shooting, etc, I repeat this is only for the drills that teammates invite you to. You still get a plus-13 through no matter how are you doing the drill that's the that's the same for the offensive consistency upgrade with me dribbling drill. I only get the +1, ~50% of the time I do that drill. some people say that get it every time, but I know for sure that your performance in the drill did NOT influence whether the +1 was awarded or not this is still the same after patch 1.07


I have maxed out my stamina, hustle, and reaction time so I'm done doing the exercises in the weight room I do not know yet how those have been affected. If you really need to know I don't want to find out for yourself just say so and I'll go figure it out.

I noted the game basically the same after patch 7, my only gripe is still the defense in the paint (overpowered cuts and lead passes to the key) and the only change I could barely realised is that it seems 'late contesting' open shots is much more effective than before, something that I don't like because even if the defender is 7 feets out of the shooter, he can affect the shot way too much so the game seems to consider it a contested shot when it was open, that's only an impression though...

Terrible news. I get the contested shot animation from way to far away. And I don't even have the patch yet. One on one moves for shots is useless as is, yeah you can use them and get to the cup but u should be able to use moves to create shots not jus drives to the rim. So what did this patch do for us offline players? Sounds like nothing.

I been playing on the PRO day one and have never experienced a crash, not one.

I've had the game since release, never a single freeze. Then I upgraded to ps4 pro and I've had 3 freezes in a matter of one week, so something is definitely messed up. Curious, has anyone who gets freezes tried to delete and reinstall on ps4 pro, out of curiosity? I was going to try this when I get home from work tonite. Wondering if it's a waste of time.

My NBA 2k17 used to crash on PS4 vanilla all the time . Like 2-3 times a game session. Haven't experienced it yet on the pro.

If you actually read my post it says the AI does it. The game itself will put the big men in at all 5 positions for both teams when intervening the simcast. Therefore when the game is coming down to the wire I have all big men in and I can't properly execute...
