I like what I'm hearing about the smoother bumping animations, etc. Really hope this is true, and more importantly I really hope they don't change it all again in a week.
I love the idea of them tweaking things only in certain modes, hopefully that will allow them to limit cheese online without screwing up the offline experience.Comment

I'll take as many patches any dev wants to give me in any game. It's free, so there's really no point in stopping them.
Complaining about free updates seems pretty hilarious to me."Baseball is the coolest sport because, at any moment, the catcher can stop the game and go tell the pitcher a secret" - Rob FeeComment

I'm so glad the Pacers are no longer a Tier 1 team. I think I complained more about David West than I did about the team, lol.Comment

Re: NBA 2K17 Patch 1.06 Available Now For PS4 & Xbox One, Patch Notes Included
I'm a massive critic of this year's iteration. I've been very underwhelmed and pretty much gave up on it.
This patch helped tremendously. I have seen some serious improvements to a lot of aspects of the game. I feel like I can actually move around the court now without being checked. I notice much smoother off ball movement so that plays are running smoother and faster. I also notice that plays can be run more effectively in that you have a few more options in which way to go when you get the ball now because of the lack of unnecessary physical contact. Like cutters at the top of the key - you can dart right for the cup or step back, or go to a wing and not be smashed around like you're an NFL running back trying to hop the line.
I normally would like to try it out for a few days, but I really think the devs deserve some immediate thanks and praise. I'm impressed with this patch. I'm not saying it's perfect, and obviously time will bring issues to light, but this is actually (to my mind) a much more accurate representation of how the NBA is played. Speaking as an exclusive offline vs the cpu player, I feel with this patch, some slider tweaks and roster edits I can play this game this year, and probably have some fun. Here's to hoping more updates, patches and other edits we (OSers) can figure out will continue to make it even better.Comment

Yeah, like I'm actually stoked to play this evening. I might even start a dynasty and move my Raptors out of that rotten city, haha. Getting through an entire game this time yesterday was a chore, and now I'm legit thinking dynasty...thats saying a lot coming from me.Comment

Rhythm dribble editing would be massive! Some of the choices made were really bad. You can truly open the game up with them, so editing them to accurately replicate their real NBA counterparts would be excellent.Comment

This was a good patch. Im sorry, but I hope they don't no more patches. There are still alot of problems but the game actually feels good now, and a simple patch is finna **** it up. Roster updates and the option for rhytm dribble and contact dunk packages in my leauge and it's good. They just need to move on to 2k18 now and try to avoid the.travesty that has been 2k17.Comment

Re: NBA 2K17 Patch 1.06 Available Now For PS4 & Xbox One, Patch Notes Included
Yes, I played five games on SS and it was good experience, fast breaks are tuned a little bit in a better way, off ball movement is improved and overall game feels right and fun now, players not losing ball as much as before because of bumping, CPU goes much less for on ball steals, steals overall have better ratio, I enjoyed this.
What is not fixed: I have to play without hedges at all because it is disaster, full court passes are still there, too much physicality still there also and too many offensive 3 sec. are called because players stuck in a paint.
I know it was not mentioned in notes but will players in MyLeague ever will start to sign for realistic money? Is it that hard to fix?Comment
