Re: NBA 2K17 Steps Up Its Game With New Fitbit Integration
So, don't jump down my throat -- is there a way to hook up someone else's fitbit to this? I don't have one, but a close friend (who doesn't play 2k) does. Is it possible to connect his fitbit to my account?
(Yes, I understand that's not the point of this entire initiative and defeats the purpose, etc. etc. I'm just curious.)"I hope that someday we will be able to put way our fears and prejudices and just laugh at people." Jack HandyComment

Let's get back on topic please.
If you have no interest in the Fitbit Integration, please move on.
There are dozens of other threads to express your issues with 2k17. Let's not derail this one.Comment

Re: NBA 2K17 Steps Up Its Game With New Fitbit Integration
This seems stupid, great idea, but stupid to only be aimed at the MyPlayer audience, so the pure MyGm'ers and MyTeam'ers are doomed to stay fat?
Why allow the game to give your award according to your gamemode, or game currency of choice.
"Yay, you've gotten your 10,000 steps, what would you like:
1. MyPlayer Boost
2. My Team Points
3. MyGM Levels - or something better.
4. VC reward.Comment

If you are so convinced every is a cash grab and 2k is this big bad company out to get you, then its simple, stop buying their products. Why would you continue to give money to company that you clearly don't trust? Help me to figure that out?Comment

Why are they concerned about Fitbit? They should be worried about fixing the bad defense that's being played in 2K17. Tired of watching free forays to the hoop, with nobody guarding their man. It's a joke.Comment

Re: NBA 2K17 Steps Up Its Game With New Fitbit Integration
Figured out you don't need one of those watches or anything for the Fitbit integration. I can use my phone which is dope.
I am upset I didn't get the bonus for all the steps I took yesterday because I didn't sync and now today I have to start completely over. But I am glad it seems to work w/ your phone.

I've been Fitbiting for a while.
but since I had to take a break from real BBall due to patella tendon injury, I'm never getting that 10k steps....
very easy to hit 10k steps when your BBalling, or if you move around a lot at workLast edited by CoolColJ; 11-27-2016, 04:36 PM.Comment

Re: NBA 2K17 Steps Up Its Game With New Fitbit Integration
So I did download the iPhone app and connected it with 2K. I did go out with my dogs for 1.5 hours and walked 6,35 km which came out as 8000 steps. I don't really think this is true though. I had it on automatic but if it is then I am SOL because that is the amount I do normally daily and I think that is more than enough for any normal human being to walk every day (except the other stuff you don't normally use a fitbit with like shopping etc) . So no bonus for me then I guess...Last edited by meccs; 11-28-2016, 10:14 AM.Comment

Yeah you have to walk a lot. I am glad I do UPS though so I easily hit over 13K steps a day.
