    NBA 2K17: Dribbling Tips

    <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/RmvLan-hh74" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

One of the more difficult aspects of NBA 2K17 to master is dribbling. To be blunt, the control scheme for dribbling in 2K17 is difficult to completely master with dozens of potential combos to master.

The folks at Sports Gamers Online on YouTube put together a five minute tutorial on some basics of dribbling.

While difficult to master, with some work you can definitely get some of the basics down to start creating space and to drive the lane.

What are some of the things you are doing to get more space with dribble moves?

This game plays nothing like this anymore since the patch. Not as fluid and smooth very clunky and seems overall slower.Stick skills dont seem to matter anymore you're pretty much not getting by the cpu defense anymore with whatever adjustments they made.No matter what moves I chain together im not getting any broken ankles animations from cpu they're just stuck to me at all times.

I've found that too, broken ankles aren't happening any more at all for me. I had Steph with some broken ankle badges against CPU Lin in MyTeam and couldn't get the broken ankle animation once all game.

Glad they toned down the ankle breaking. Was playing MyPark with Rondo (me) vs. Curry (friend) and he made me slip & fall on almost 1/2 of his crossovers coming down the court. It was terrible.

Broken ankles aren't necessary. Effective offensive moves that allow you to get passed your defender without a ridiculous collision animation is definitely needed though.

I agree man, you rarely ever see someone hit the deck IRL, I don't want to see it frequently in the game either. Makes it seem cheap when it happens all the time.
