I just downloaded the patch and it's definately worse. The passing is too fast and arcadey and there aren't nearly as many missed shots by the cpu. People were complaining about this stuff and the lob passes and that shooting was off. It was great out of the box. 4 games in post patch now and the passing is too fast now and arcadey. I'm not seeing defenders anticipate as much as they were play off certain guys and let them shoot and miss etc.. I'm not seeing the same variety with the ball physics either. Players will throw bullet passes and it's not the same. They should have left it as is and just fixed the actual bugs and not adjusted the gameplay or at least improved it vs catering to peoples complaints.. Still an improvement from past years but they listened to people who were wrong.

Makes we wonder if their patch people are different than the actual developers. I hope if they are they don't touch it anymore.

It's also more difficult to pull of certain dribble moves where defenders more just lock onto you now. Pre patch it was fun pulling off dribble moves and sometimes you still wouldn't make the shot or get the layup. I was seeing all sorts of stuff that was just very realistic.

I'm not seeing the same variety and different fouls either that were very realistic. I also get called for fouls now if i breath on anyone where before i could really pester ball handlers and the ball would bounce around and I wouldnt get the steal and steal stats were still very accurate. Diving for loose balls etc..

This game was pretty much perfect to me out of the box minus a few bugs. It's still good but they messed it up. I was seeing so much variety of stuff happening before. Long passes and players being beaten down the other end and fumbled passes and just a lot of stuff.

anybody have any problems unlocking hof badges since the patch? I just unlocked the grand badge before I got my limitless hof badge that i feel should of unlocked by now

What level are u playing on? I played last night on HOF... the defense was definitely sticky. I saw no ankle breaking animations either... I played with John Wall and Lillard.

Superstar. I was speaking mainly about in the open floor. I'm not breaking ankles by any stretch. Just defenders aren't getting on your hip and then sticking to you and morphing in front of you stopping any freedom of movement. I'm getting to the bucket though on smaller more subtle moves.

Just played 2 more games on HOF... defenders are more stickier after the patch. I am not getting the riding animations etc. Seems like it is even difficult to get past bigs. I played with Portland and Lillard had problems getting past his defenders.

Man 7GB! Another all night download. I wasnt that far in, although I liked how MyPlayer was made. 6'2" playmaker SG. Im staying with that. My camera just switched in one game to Broadcast (no not the right button practice switch,) and I tried the default button, tried other views, didn't feel good with any of them. So I hate to restart, but I will I guess. At least I got a feel before college now (skiped 2 yearsof 2k cause the my player teamates playing bad thing.) Now they play normal even with you. And the story doesnt seem to effect games. So I was liking it till the odd camera swith, I could not get back, even by pressing reset to default.

Completely agree, game out of the box played a better game of basketball Imo. Does anyone know how I would go about uninstalling the patch? Is it as simple as deleting the app off of my dashboard and reinstalling?

I have the digital download, not sure I'd that makes any difference.
