Literally, use your noodle bro. How do you think they put classic players in the game now? You think they had patrick ewing or larry bird come in and face scan them? Lol c'mon this sint rocket science. They'd use the same method they do now just with YOUNGER face reference. Jesus christ lol
Guess they revived dead players and face scanned them for classic teams too? Wow.Xbox Series X: KILLMUNGERComment

If they looked right people wouldn't complain.
If you're going to do something, do it right or don't do it at all.
It isn't too much to expect quality DLC for $15. This isn't quality, it's lazy. People can choose to spend the $15 anyway in the hopes that it encourages 2K to come back with something better. I choose to send the message that this DLC is not worth my $15 and they need to put more effort into their DLC.Last edited by Kstat; 09-19-2016, 08:45 PM.Comment

just because they are a business doesn't mean they need to try and milk their customers for every cent they can. 2k knows there is a huge desire for the college game. So they are taking advantage. It's greed. 2k has been doing this more and more every year. So like EA. I might start buying their game used.
I won't even touch the VC thing. I went online yesterday. Played 2 games and quit. Everyone was 20-30 ratings higher. There was zero fun factor.Comment

Everyone has their own opinion on these things, but to me what we get for 60 bucks in the base game is a tremendous value. I have zero problem with them charging extra for college teams in a game that is called NBA 2K, especially given the probable licensing costs for securing those teams.
IMO, when you dealing with things that are pure luxury items, like video games, I have no qualms about companies trying to get what they can. It's a pay or don't pay scenario.Comment

Sure would be nice if they gave us what we already paid for (DREAM TEAM) before trying to sell us add-ons.#LFC

The looks of Ewing and Wilt make me want to vomit. Can't say it any nicer than that.
I get that 2K needs to make money from this idea. However, if you want me to pay extra, do not insult me with "college" players that look like 35 year old men. Simply porting over the player models you already have is not acceptable.
It's bad enough I have to deal with old looking "rookie" players in myteam. Ruins the experience for me. 2K would have gotten my $15 if these players actually looked like their college days. I refuse to spend on this.Comment

Exactly. Same goes for Miles Simon from Arizona. He was arguably the best player on their 97 championship squad yet he's not in the game smh.Comment

I'm still waiting on my '92 Dream Team that I was supposed to receive with my preorder smh. Haven't heard a word from 2K about this yet so needless to say after that fiasco they won't be getting another dime from me any time soon.Comment

DEAD, the fact that guys are defending this and calling players spoiled because paying $15 for created players and copies of players already in the game is ridiculous. Like guys cant be this inept to not understand this. We can literally upload these logos, make these jerseys and courts, add these duplicate players to a roster AND make terrible caps FOR FREE. This isnt about liscenses or whatever. Nobody here has an issue with 2k charging for DLC. The issue is them being lazy in doing so. Charging people $15 for half assed content is just wrong. Its not being spoiled its called common sense. Just because we want thinga done right we're spoiled? I'd rather they not do it at all if they arent going to do it right. Then to ask us to pay $15 a quarter of the game price for content we can barely use? Lol yea we're real spoiled and inconsiderate. Saying well "its an nba game, ncaa teams are a privilege" is further enabling them to not work hard on this type of stuff. If guys dont get that then idk what to tell you but the guys calling us spoiled probably werent going to buy dlc whether it was done right or not. Yalls logic is literally "You shouldnt complain about $15 worth of **** because its NCAA **** and not NBA ****.." Lmao oblivious.Comment

And that's your opinion. 2K sees another opportunity to cash in on the licenses for the colleges they have. Slap some pro players on the teams and sell them. It's business. And totally elective. Don't want it. Don't buy. Think it's a lazy cash grab; don't buy. But stop making it some commentary on the company or state of affairs. Though I would like to use the teams in ML it was only 15$ and I will certainly play with them throughout the year so it's all good. They could mark down VC 99% and I wouldn't touch it because I don't see the value for MY gaming experience. Everyone is different. Anything with college in it I'm buying, period. If 2K wants to play on that great.
No one can judge whether it's a lazy effort or not until they actually BUY it Junior. To my knowledge no video/screen footage existed of this DLC content prior to release. I don't think people have a problem with buying DLC when it's on the quality level as say Witcher 3. The art department should have put forth a better effort with this DLC. There are current and former members of OS who have done better work on CAPS for legend rosters for free than 2k did for pay. I think 2k is trying to do too much and are stretching themselves thin in certain areas. I appreciate the effort but I know they can do better.Last edited by NINJAK2; 09-26-2016, 06:38 PM.EA and 2k have the unfortunate task of trying to balance on a tightrope of fun and sim while trying not to fall 10,000 feet to their death. Instead of a safety net waiting down below there will just be angry customers quick to move out of the way and talk of their failure.Comment
