Hmm...pure speculation but maybe they will do something similar to 2k11 and the recent maddens where the initial start up on the game has you play an intro game with this one being Kobe's last game? That would be a cool feature

^Begging for this to be true. If 2K17 is truly looking to take the crown of "Best 2K ever" from 2K11, then bringing the filters and shorts shorts (they're the best, IMO) will be a nice plus.

2K17 is looking to be BEAST this year -- we'll see how it plays, but the work done on it in a one year cycle (and a shorter one than usual) is astounding.

That's a possibility too and I would enjoy that as well.
