These attribute grouping piss me off again. Why in the world would they group layups and dunks together. Kyrie irving can barely ever dunks but has the greatest layup game maybe the world has ever seen. Same thing with Steph, dude does not have great hops by nba standards but his ball control, floaters, and layups around the basket are on another level. Most of the great scoring small players in the history of the nba had great finishing ability and technique around the rim, yet if I want to create a player like that means you will essentially be creating westbrook who by the way does not have near the array of shots or finishing quality of Kyrie/Steph.

yeah that was one of my major gripes with MyCareer. Your ai cpu players did some of the most unnecessary things. it was awful for me.

Hopefully it's a bit better cause these other features sound pretty nice.

I guess this is going to have to be the compromise for me to play this game. I still hate the storyline, but if I'm given a decent amount of control I'll check it out on gamefly to see if there's enough control in MyCareer before making a purchase.
You looking at the Chair MAN!

Number may not tell the whole story ,but they never lie either.

Think I might have jumped the gun with this a bit after reading more through it. But grouping two separate skills together still concerns me.

Ugh I hope not. I guess I'm confused because in this blog he mentions being able to grind your way to potentially being a 99 overall.

To me the worst part of the game is my career even if it is loved by many. I really just want to create my player and compete in proam but am forced to play a stupid story mode against AI which I loath so my player is not disadvantaged on Pro-am/Park. I know there are a ton of players like me out there and can't understand why we are not allowed to earn additional attribute boxes and badges while playing my park/Pro am.

I don't even want to necessarily be a 99 overall, I just want to be able to shoot better if I'm tall for my position. Or be able to be a great defender even if I don't pick that archetype.

I disagree. It's unrealistic but I believe it definitely should be like that. If it's not, most people will not experience Free Agency. Off the top of my head, a team gets to keep a drafted rookie for about 3-4 years? Most people aren't going to play that many seasons to make it to a FA.

So I love that 2K found a way to make you one after your first season. I don't see how it's really a issue. If you want it to be realistic like, stay w/ your current team for 2-3 more years.

How do upgrades work this season?
                        Also the weight room?

I think its 3 yrs but cant remember the fourth is team option i think.... you can ask for a trade if you don't want to stay with that team after year 1. After 3rd year I'd like to try for a max deal or maybe become a free agent after year 2

This looks cool.. Im not a My Career guy though but its looks cool.

I just hope in future, they can in corporate the D League and the EuroLeague. Have your player get drafted but cut then show the options. Think that would put many hours into it showing how hard it is just trying to be a NBA athlete.

I think they meant, last year of high school, one and done in college, and first year in NBA.

Could be wrong, but hat sounds right. Free agent after first year was awful.
