This all sounds great, but the biggest concern for me is teammate AI. Part of the fun of joining a team is getting to play with your favorite players. There's a lot of potential lost for this mode when the AI players no longer play like their real life counterparts. There are a few moments in games where the AI plays really well, the ball is moving and for a second it's like you're playing with other people, and you're a part of something rather than having the whole team rotate around you.

I'd love to see that be the norm of the mode and if and when we get to the point where we're dominant, it's part of a journey where we go from a complementary player to the kind of guy that plays WITH complementary players.

Orange juice? Lmao. Who comes up with all these names? Frequency Vibrations, Orange Juice, The Prez. Somebody trolling.

These are two aspects of the mode that have been inexplicably sub par. We already know that the crappy nicknames are still present, but hopefully at least the gameplay and coaching A.I. has been exponentially improved.

I more than likely won't touch MyCareer after the prelude.

With that said, this sounds awesome. Happy for those that do play the mode.

They should link upgrades to minutes on the court. Those of us who play career shouldn't be at a disadvantage in park because some people just foul out of every game.

Man this is really sounding GREAT! Several questions though:

3) I see you said we can get to a 99. Does that mean we can potentially exceed some of the caps in the archetype we pick? If so this is huge because I feel the archetypes looked to restrictive but I feel you should be able to exceed them if you really put in the work. It shouldn't be easy of course. And your development should depend on all things you do in practice and in game like how consistent are your shot releases, drills, etc. It sounds like yall are incorporating that with the Doin Work feature.

One of the devs said that you can't go past the cap but you can get bronze badges to help with the areas you're lacking.

When is 2k ever gonna put Allen the Answer back on a 2K COVER i mean he is the real reason why i started playin 2k in the first place jordan shaq kobe bird magic etc just to name a few have graced the 2k covers the last few years but NO Allen iverson i just wish that great team over there at 2k would Grace AI with on a cover and some type of special edition or game mode like the did for Jordan and Kobe i mean AI was a Warrior one of the best to do it come on 2k give real 2k fans what we really want

I understand why 2k does the story mode thing because they wanna give people a reason to keep playing the mode. The last gen MyPlayer mode could get really boring over time. I think at this point though to stop people from crying about the mode they should allow you to do the face scan outside of MyCareer that way people could just do player lock in MyLeague if they want a stripped down version of MyCareer.
