I was wondering this also but looking at every stream I've watched he was shorter than everyone. So to be honest I have no clue. maybe he plays a position up of you and if your a pg maybe he's the sg. I also wonder do I get to pull a KD and dip off on my partner in crime?#FreeMikeGSW

Re: NBA 2K17 MyCAREER Blog with Senior Producer Ben Bishop
Can't wait to start my journey a week from today with the Prelude. 2k did not disappoint with this one, last year's MyCareer experience just seemed like it was so forced, pushing my character in one direction and giving him a personality that wasn't necessarily my own. With this I feel as if we will have a lot more control over how our player is perceived and that it will actually affect things, such as endorsements and relationships with people such as your coach, teammates. etc.
I've gotta say that I am indeed hype for this, I'm a 2k guy through and through and it's gunna be hard to balance MyCareer, as I'd like to actually get through a career since I rarely do (longest streak: 4 seasons on DET in 2k14) along with MyTeam and now that they've announced MyLeague Online will actually include an off season, Sept. 16th can't come soon enough.
*Insert Jimmy Butler smirk GIF here since I can't figure out how to post that ish!*Last edited by CrimsionXBL; 09-02-2016, 08:48 AM.Chicago Bulls•Toronto Raptors•Carolina Panthers•Toronto Blue Jays•Toronto Maple LeafsComment

Love all the changes that they made in terms of giving us more options and a balance of being able to immerse ourselves in the story for those who like the scenes to just general improvements.
The only thing that's missing and I really hope there was just too much to talk about and free agency and stuff didn't make it in but is the ability to talk to your GM about trades and potential additions to your team in the off season. That's the only thing missing to me reading that article, otherwiseI'm very excited for this year's MyCareer with a lot of these changs and imrpovements.Comment

As other people mentioned I'm curious as to what happens when you leave, sounds like they have their bases covered so I'm assuming you won't be locked on the same team for your entire careers. Once you leave will you be able to use the dual player control with another player on the team if he's not on it?
I'm also wondering how long the story elements last, are they going to be sprinkled in for your entire career or will they fall off after a season, two, three+?Comment

lol..."orange juice"
That aside, this sounds like it has all the depth and interactivity that we were hoping for from 2K16. I really like the idea of connecting with teammates (especially having guys to come up with), as I felt that was always one of the major disconnects in these kinds of modes (like for my Hornets career in 2K15 when I was followed by nearly the whole league, but couldn't get Al Jefferson, my supposed mentor, to say two words to me).
I'm still a franchise guy first and foremost, but this year's MyCareer sounds legit.Comment
