    Who cares man..

Lets get back to the hands on.

Wow - these 2 articles were awesome to read. Apparently these 2 people are just reporters or article writers right ? - they're their own people. They say what they wanna say. So that being said - what they've been saying sounds promising considering it comes from non filtered sources. Pumped.

      And i mean.

I feel like a lot of the messages i read on this forum mostly focus on the negatives - and it makes sense considering we focus on the things that need to be improved. But i feel like some take it to a level where other people can easily assume they don't seem to even like the game or acklowedge the improvements the game makes every year.

At the end of the day - people are making this game - making a game is a complex thing that while i'm sure many here understand some concepts that go into it - probably few or if any at all have actually worked on a game. That being said - to me 2k16 made a lot of improvements - yes it had faults. But if those improvements stay which they likely should - and we get even more improvements to flaws. The game will likely be very fun. While i eventually got bored of 2k16 sooner than many 2ks prior to it - it was for specific reasons - reasons which if are improved i will likely go back to being a 2k junkie. Is not like 2k doesn't want to improve - it may seem that way sometimes but opinions are opinions - at the end of the day the better the game the more money they get.

Aren't they one and the same? The pro stick is tied to the shot stick no? Anyway I'm glad they're touching the shot stick again....I'm hoping for a more responsive right stick defense. I'm running towards the shooter with the stick pressed and his hands aren't going up to contest.

Hopefully when he says that teammates left their assignments, it wasn't one pass away and/or somebody rotated over to the guy that was left.
Sometimes I wonder, if they are programming certain rotations etc. then why have these very rigorous (and great IMO) defensive settings?

Just makes me wonder if certain defensive rotational programming would over ride certain settings (despite the user manually putting them in).

But one would simply have to just play and play and test and test etc. I guess...

Anyone else think the freelance comment was odd? Unless I am crazy, every team in 2K16 had their own free lance (and then even more extras again...) right?

            Or am I mistaken?

If so, they're gonna need to rework the whole selection process because scrolling through 7 pages of offenses last year was a pain during the middle of a possession that often went wasted.
              Yes. Yes this. Yes.

This should be a pre-game selection (like match ups, line ups etc.)

                Exciting.

Probably, but maybe its like 99% probability for success or something....

as far as things i like? i like the presentation. I like that they attempt to really give you an authentic nba experience, in terms of presentation. but for me, the gameplay comes first. somebody here made the point that 2K likes to make it flashy but ignore legacy issues. and literally, everything i talk about here on this forum are legacy issues that people willfully ignore(which is fine if just having a basketball game suffices....to which i respect). but i was under the impression that 'sim' was the end goal here, and if so, then lets have an honest convo without all the condescending retort.
As long as I've been here, nobody ignores legacy issues. Just because we continue to play the game doesn't mean we don't notice them. And just because we enjoy the game doesn't mean we don't notice.

Remember how some teams simply had a generic 3 out or 4 out freelance system? I'm taking it to mean that all 30 will have their own team specific freelances.

Definitely cool. 2 things I do hope for this year is that the team specific ones from 2k16's lesser teams such as the Sixers motion were expanded upon (we all know some awesome detail will go into the Warriors and Spurs swing).

The 2nd thing is I hope that freelances are no longer tied to the team. Yes you can change yours in game, but not the CPU obviously. And say 5 years into a MyLeague, a team will still run the same system, no matter if they are on their 2nd or 3rd different coach.

Look at all the top comments on Chris Smoove's video on the new shot meter.

                              We are so screwed.

Because the cheesers are so loud, the first patch will appease them, like always. Bye bye sim.

I hope so bc I dnt want to be rated 95 and have to be the one matched up against a 85 player who I can easily outplay. It's like when you have a kid that called next among men and you getting matched up with the kid.

Plus alot of those lower rated players are newbies and some are just nuts so they are going to cause you to lose bc they are still learning how to play.
It could also mean some sort of Dynamic Rating system for your MyPlayer.
