A lot of talk about peoples right to bash/not bash details.
It's okay to be critical, it's not okay to assume incompetence or laziness. These devs have under a year to deliver a polished basketball simulation. Of course they work hard, but they will miss things.
The thing is, they also get our money, and a substantial amount of it. So we reserve the right to criticize parts of the game that are substandard.
It sucks when certain details are completely missed. Muscle tone, shoulders, arm size, leg size, jersey size, etc. DO matter, and it sucks that 2K hasn't nailed it down yet. I'm sure it's incredibly hard to do so, but to me, body models deserve priority over cheerleaders, virtual interviews, half time locker room cutscenes, 2KTV, and all the **** like that which comes off as 'look, we made it shiny!' I just wish those assets were poured into the core gameplay and visuals. What increases the value of your product more, having players and jerseys move and look as close to lifelike as possible, or having a flashy broadcast presentation with pointless sideline interviews, the same tired halftime and end game cutscenes, dance team pan outs, stupid player dancing into timeouts after being up 10, ALL that **** I just wish I could immediately skip that could have been completely ignored to spend another few weeks/dev salary on player modelling/close attention to every important gameplay and player detail.
