LOL'd at that Tristan Thompson travel on the inbound pass. That was hilarious.

The game definitely looks smoother. Something has definitely been done to smooth out transition animations and the general dynamic of the basketball. This is something that has been missing since 2K14 on PS3.

Gameplay looks pretty solid so far. JR Smith looks updated. Cavs court appears like it's still too dark, but I'll wait until I see actual 1080p captured gameplay to make that assumption.

I think that is the first user controlled fast break I have seen in these Gamescom videos. The passing looks very fluid and players are running the lanes.

Guess we learned that layups are now timed now. It will make things interesting probably lower those automatic layups after offensive rebounds. I knew this came up before but Mike Wang didn't think we ready for timed layups before. The timing aspect will make Euro layups way harder than I thought they would be reading the control layout.

Cant sit here and watch these garbage @ss clowns play the game more than 20 seconds. I really dont need to see much from 2K. We all know what it is at this point. This is what happens with sustained excellence. I already knew I was buying this game the minute its available. Just keep passing along the info. I dont need a video showing 2K first timers playing the game.....

You guys sure it's timed? It's hard to tell from a low res vid but would be awesome if it's timed.

I'm hoping hook shots would be timed as well.

The meter was definitely filling up when Tristian put back up the layup. In all previous 2K's that was an automatic layup attempt with no meter or feedback release. Freeze the video around 1:30.

I re-watched the other Gamescom video from JumpmanGerm and the Smoove video you can see the meter filling up too on a missed layups on put back attempts

I hope this is true no more guaranteed layups

The only thing these videos reveal, is that smartphone cameras arent as good as advertised.

If timed layups are valid then wooow really smt to look for, the only thing left i would want to see would be manual passing in years to come.. Fingers crossed.
