Please give us the ability to change move sets, or do a better job of knowing fighters moves and what they train to do. Rousey symmetrically pulling off head kicks is one of the many reasons I'm returning this title. Correct collision detection and make the blows mean something always. Its annoying to be dominating on the feet only for the opponent to go for a take down which nullifies the teep I just put in their gut. It seems like boiler plate EA so far, improve in making the game look pretty with new animations and graphics only to have similar or new performance issues from the previous title. At least let me change the move sets on my own if your not gonna do it. I've never even seen Ronda practice any type of kick.

Wow Pappy. I don't even know. That's insane.
You must have been walking backwards counter striking?
Not allowed to walk backwards or you auto lose decisions.PSN: Lord__Hazanko

Re: EA Sports UFC 2 Community Impressions
One thing I've never liked about being in someones guard is that when you posture up and you deny them pulling you back in, that you're not able to throw a quick punch to punish it a lot of times. There's a bit of a pause before they react. I'll often deny their guard pull a couple of times then still end up getting swept. It's really weird.Comment

There's another guy on there named Lord_Hazanko.
I get messages all the time that were meant for him.
I'm sure the same happens to him.

This journey to division 7 is a long one. I have no aspirations of making it to 8 - once I hit 7, I'm good. Lol.

Re: EA Sports UFC 2 Community Impressions
Why on earth does this game have no flash knockdowns, like we saw in Overeem vs Stipe tonight for instance? Especially at the heavier weights, they happen all the time irl.
Such a huge aspect of real life mma, yet in this game you only get knockdowns when there's a clean KO or off someone already being rocked.Comment

Re: EA Sports UFC 2 Community Impressions
Big fan of EA Sports combative games so I have a general feel for the UFC 2. Was seeing if anyone that has the game for Xbox One would be down to practice with me. I also like fighting as not so popular fighters to make it more fun. My Xbox name is Kuklinskii so add me if you'd like to to teach me some things and point out my flaws. Appreciate the time!Comment

Re: EA Sports UFC 2 Community Impressions
It is extraordinarily rare seeing a knockdown outside of during the rocked animation. Like I see one maybe once every 25 fights and it's usually from a headkick when countered (exactly as it should be, but it just happens way too rarely).
Do you think this game emulates real life when you see Overeem vs Stipe last night?
In this game you can walk into clean power punch after punch(or headkick for that matter) by heavyweights and there is barely a reaction
in fact some guy was afk(afj) last night and it took me 10-15 clean power hooks to put him down playing as rumble
and then there's the stupid combo multiplier arcade bull****. Did Rumble need a combo multiplication to KO Glover in their fight? Or what about JDS in the first Cain fight? Or what about Yancy Medeiros dropping Sean Spencer twice from two headkicks last night? Overeem dropping Miocic with basically his first punch of the fight?
If you don't actively block or evade against big punchers in the game you should be punished. Right now there's a cushion where you can just eat 5 headkicks in a row and say meh, no biggie. There is no sense of imminent danger. Most fights in EA UFC 2 look like real life flyweight fights in terms of clean shots landing with little effect.
In this game, if you both players try playing realistically with footwork(well as realistically as you can, seeing as we can't even throw punches while moving in the game) and a common-sense level of caution, every fight goes to decision. At every weight class. Because single strikes have no effect(inb4 someone says "but i got this clean knockout once like 20 days ago ya know". This is generally speaking of course.
They should add realistic gameplay as an option for non-arcaders.Last edited by Domi; 09-11-2016, 03:58 PM.Comment
