Yeah man, I can only imagine the kind of stuff we could cook up with that kind of tech. Would definitely make life a lot easier in terms of player creation!

Anyhow, perhaps when we get some more footage from this years game, we'll be pleasantly surprised - things may not be as bad as some of us initially think....(Wishful thinking)

I don't think we know that yet. The closest I've gotten to concrete information has come from a really brief Game Informer article. It reads like a random blog post but says:

If 2k was smart they should sell Legends and Current separately just for one year to see if there's interest in a standalone Legends game. If that's possible and it sells well expect them to improve the details, player models, retro stadiums etc, since that would be their focus. I expect this to be the way of the future as a business stand point there's only so much memory to put on a single disc.

I think it'd be less costly to just invest in legends in their current game and not have two games competing against each other.

Yes you are right Mauer4MVP I didn't think about that it could cost them sales to NBA 2k unless they released the Legends during the summer.

Maybe there's a separate game in there somewhere for 2k.....I know money is always an issue, but a separate entity focusing on legends only would be awesome. That way you guys could have the main game focused on your current day ballers and we old heads could get our LEGIT fix too.

I'm dreaming right with you, bro. I could give a damn about current players. I don't even touch that part of the game. Hell, I'm mad they're putting some recent modern teams in with the Legends. If 2K ever did a Legends only game, I'd be all over that.

I don't know if anyone watched the last 2KTV episode but a quick tidbit I picked up on is we'll be able to face scan using our phones now! Back to the trailer and topic everyone is discussing tho, I've always wondered, why couldn't they just find some high-resolution pics of the legends and scan them that way or do like 3D prints which I know would be time consuming. I've just always wondered lol

Quick match or my league with classic teams only. I don't touch any current teams nor any other game modes.

Would snap up a legends only game in a heart beat. Would actually pay big coin for that too.

Maybe it's just me, but i don't see this buff thing that alot of you guys are seeing. I work out, and this pic is no where near buff, and his chest is not sticking out far. I just rewatched the first trailer and he looks pretty solid to me.

Yeah but we still need one of his sixers or a mid 90s suns team. Praying he will release his stubborn ways. Right now i would rather play with charles barkley than any other legends in the game.
