I also don't really understand why the offensive loses stamina (a lot) during a health event. Always figured it was a perk my opponent was using.

No, it's just designed that way to make it impossible for someone to get KO'ed on the feet. For some reason no dev has ever explained why the hell it's in the game. Oh you rocked someone, congrats! Now you lose half your stamina and you can't get it back until their health event is over! WTF? NOW it's going to be impossible to finish a combo to the head to knock someone out. Who the hell finishes a combo with a body shot?








AWESOME. Thank God Madden is coming out. I didn't even wanna buy crappy Madden, but I'm not playing an MMA game where it's going to be virtually impossible to finish anyone on the feet now except by hitting X and Y over and over 400 times. Screw that.

I have finished many people on the feet outside of FTF, and I have also been finished many times on the feet, as well. I think damage is in a good place right now.

Except now with the permanent ability to block even during hit stuns, good luck knocking anyone out on the feet, unless you want to body spam to death. People are just going to hold RB all day long. The 20 percent or whatever will not balance this out. It's going to be literally impossible to knock anyone out on the feet in the first two rounds, the only way you'll be able to do it is to jab/straight/jab/straight the head over and over and over. Like people don't do that 500 times a fight anyway. Yall have fun playing a fighting game where people are literally going to hit two buttons over and over.

I thought it was going to be the end of clinch effectiveness for the one patch and turns out its better now, so you never know. Being able to block the ONE combo that jerks use repeatedly sounds fantastic to me.
