Ahh so Dream Team only playable in quick match once again? Was hoping to take them thru MyLeague & actually have a real Barkley for classic teams.

I wonder if there will be an option to play with international rules. If we can only use international teams in play now it will be useless to me. Please let us have some sort of tournament mode with international teams.

I don't want new classic teams,i want a better looking classic players.
I know they can't facescan but i know they can do way better

This times 1000!!!Seeing 85 Sixers Moses Malone wearing goggles, a terrible Iverson, Shaq, T-MAC, etc. scans along with having Mario Ellie players on the wrong classic teams is a pretty bad showing. That is only the tipping point in regards to the bad execution of some of these classic teams and their player faces. Them adding more has me nervous that the missteps on their existing teams/players won't be addressed. I'll keep my fingers crossed

The sept 16 release just after olympics will help keep the audience interested in the intl teams, especially before nba starts, just makes sense

including the Olympic teams would be really awesome.....Dream Team icing on the cake. The national teams are more competitive than ever right now. would much rather have national teams than Euroleague teams, in my opinion. our team this year won't be the powerhouse it usually is, so i'm looking forward to see how the Olympics pan out.

Loving this. Wasn't too sure this year but now that I can finally play as Australia this is an easy choice.

This is some awesome news, 2k great job of implementing International teams. This is the way the franchise needs to go because who doesn't like playing with their national team in a video game. ie. FIFA.
Also the International covers will be a bonus to have.

Now that we have a few Aussie's in the NBA and Basketball is becoming more popular than ever over here. If we don't get a medal in the Rio Olympics, watch out for us in the next four years with Ben Simmons.

Yeah, this is true, each to their own and all that jazz. Sure some folk will be hyped for this.

Sure they'll get some good use out of the addition - hell if indeed the 92 Dream team are in, even I'LL play against the global squads, if included!

I hope we can at least edit the Dream Teamers this time. I HATED that we couldn't put on their proper accessories and had to keep them in generic 2K shoes. That was a waste of time to have the Dream Team in and not be able to edit them.

When Paul George was announced as the NBA 2K17 cover athlete, many readers pointed out that he was wearing the Team USA jersey in the background, possibly hinting at the Olympics being involved in the game this year.

Fox Sports Australia has just confirmed the Australian National Team will be featured in the game (for the first time ever), so we will most likely hear about the other teams included and possibly what mode(s) they will be included in fairly soon.

As noted by Basketball Australia, here is the team roster.

Wow, Ryan Broekhoff will be in the game, Im excited, watch this kid up close his whole time at Valpo, from his freshmen yr thru his senior yr, as my wife and I were season ticket holders till a couple yrs ago when I just got to bad health wise to go any longer, so thrilled I will get to play with him in the game. Had always felt the kid was good enough to play in the NBA, and if he got with the right team, he coul dbe a key role player off the bench. The kid hustles and plays as hard as anyone Ive ever seen, and is very smart along with being a good shooter.

I hear you on that man. Was ridiculous seeing them in generic shoes and Jordan in the wrong colorways.

Offtopic here, but I really want 2k to add back in the arena sounds/music for the classic teams this year. It's been gone since 2k12 - Chicago Stadium and the Forum are just empty shells without their organ music playing as the Bulls/Lakers bring the ball up court.....

If they do include all national teams with the same effort to details like team USA it'd be amazing. But i got a feeling anybody that not in NBA will have same generic signature styles, blank hot zones, no badges and very inaccurate attributes, terrible cyberfaces.
