I noticed GUCCI got banned.

That dude has been a part of the community forever. What did he get banned for?

Re: EA Sports UFC 2 Community Impressions

My two cents:

This is actually my first UFC gaming experience. I didn't buy UFC 1, and I never played the Undisputed games. I was a huge, huge, huge fan of the Fight Night series though, so I was happy to see UFC sort of-kind of implementing some things from Fight Night's mechanics.

I enjoy the game. And I don't expect a sim from it, I just expect a balance between arcadey and sim, because that's probably the only way you're going to draw to a casual gaming audience. I think it's a tall order to simulate UFC fighting, there's so many intangible elements to it that you're not going to be able to capture in a video game. I see the constructive complaints here, and while they don't make me enjoy the game any less, I do still agree with a lot of them. This game is far from perfect, should it be better on a PS4 in 2016? I don't feel qualified to say. I know the Show is excellent, yet it's been excellent since PS2. Should I measure every other sports title to the Show? Because if I do, they're pretty much always going to fall short.

I look at UFC 2 as like a Madden experience. Not a great sim, but entertaining and enjoyable at times. I think it's far from a bad game, but I do get that same sense when I play that I do with Madden. The sense of : This COULD probably be a lot better if they did this or if they did that and why isn't this in the game?

Re: EA Sports UFC 2 Community Impressions

I've stopped playing ranked as much since hitting div 6. I just want some good fights, and in there I'm mostly seeing the same techniques over and over. Also, I tend to use every fighter in the game and I see a much wider selection of opponents in unranked. I haven't completely given up on ranked, but I'm just mixing things up a bit.

I need to start adding folks to my friends list who give me good fights, or start some sort of invitation only PSN community for guys who don't do a lot of BS when they fight lol.

Gotta throw a shout out to Mr. Boiler. Lost to him in the last tourney we ran, but it was just a good fight. No nonsense, no gimmicks. I need to run into more of that online.

GOOD LUCK!!!

It's a fighting game and everyone has egos and wants to prove they are a bad man and just be a tough guy. When all I pretty much want is fun competive fights that end with "Good Game dude" and "I'll hit you up later for fun fights"
but I never get any of those. Just A-Holes or ppl that are cool intill they lose and it's "Ohhhhh your a cheater or you lag" Then boom they are gone and never playing with you again.

Online gaming in 2016!

This is why I stopped playing ranked at division 4. Every LHW/HW fight was Jones while I'm picking people like Bader and Barnett because I dont want to play with the same guy every time.

Man, I legit faced Jon Jones in every single ranked match I had at LHW. Pretty crazy. I guess they don't want to use the Cummins and Latifi's of the world like I do.

You're not missing anything by staying out of ranked. The pool of people to play is a lot bigger, though. Sometimes it takes a while for me to find an unranked game.

Yeah its unranked and offline (with house rules) for me from here on out. I just play for fun. I dont need to win so bad that I only use 1% of the total roster.
