It might be better doing it this way. Individually breaking down features or facts. The fact sheet can be pretty clustering. Everyone relax! They are going to do it their way. We have 2 months before the Show 16 drops.

First thing you should reveal IMO is a calendar of reveal. I wish we will not have to wait until a feature drop out of the blue.



May I ask one question? Why proceeding like this? Is it :



A. Some key features are still in development and as of today (or the day the fact sheet should've been released) you don't know for sure you will be able to get it ready in time for release?



B. Just a simple change of mind about how to ramp up hype?



C. Both



D. Neither

A calendar would be the worst idea. You'd have guys at midnight asking where is it...Better to just be surprised.

1) Something new/different

2) Builds hype better with a constant stream of information

3) More time can be spent getting into the details of each addition/change

4) Gives everyone a better idea of the scope of work that goes into each new iteration (I'm still confounded that every year there are individuals that say nothing has changed after looking at a list of 50 new features/changes...and those are just the ones that made the list)

My guess is the fact sheet is coming Tuesday. Then I think there'll be a live stream on RTTS in a couple of weeks followed by a franchise mode live stream.

I also have a feeling that there's a big reveal coming beyond the retractable roofs, PBR, and 'Matrix-mode' that nobody seems excited about on defense.

What is this 'Matrix-mode' you talk about?

I wonder what effect this 'little bit at a time' approach will have on pre-orders though. There are some guys here who will buy no matter what and there are some who will complain no matter what, but me personally; I have never pre-ordered the game and always wait until there is clarity on what is in and what is out. I wonder if there are others like this who want to see all the info before making a decision on it and who won't pre-order due to a slower stream of info.

What is this 'Matrix-mode' you talk about?

I believe they called the feature "Show Time" ?? Check out the trailer video they released a little while back. I don't remember much about the feature except that nearly 100% on OS who saw the video and commented consisted of people saying "I can't wait to turn this off." I think the idea is to make defense more exciting in certain moments and do 'slow mo' arcade-y type of stuff (kinda like The Matrix which is why I called it that).
