Hey, I'm on XBOX ONE and patch 4 is not 2.4 gigs for me. It's like 1.5 for me. I don't know why it's like that. Is anybody else experiencing this?

. it won't make you download a smaller patch. If you have the full patch you can play online. So check if you can play online. I'm on Xbox and my patch is the same size, should just be the patch size

Press the Y and B buttons at the same time and you'll do a pass fake.

The ball can't be stolen while you're in the pass fake animation.

This will buy you an extra second or two to think up your next move while the steal spammers converge on the ball.

..I will give this a shot jyoung...my sf's handles are so bad if someone looks at him sideways he drops the ball...lol.. Get tired of them vultures man...

I want to apologize, I literally thought patch 4 fix this game. I had a placebo effect getting hype for patch 4 thinking the issue was fix, because AI teammates leaving their open is still a freaking problem in this game. Why is melo helping out, there is no reason for melo literally walk across the court to help NOOO REASON. How Can I play MyCareer if this keep going on. How can anyone defend this game.

So in my career I've been working towards dimer. I'm like 59 assists away or something like that but anyways, I usually come out trying to score right away in the first to get the double teams to come to me and get easy assists. But since patch 4 I haven't had as many. Now idk if that's just me being paranoid or if it is something but man it's frustrating lol. I dropped 86 last night just going with the "Hey I'm going to score until you double me" type thing and it went all game. Probably only got doubled a hand full of times in that game. I think it was against the raptors?

Just wondering if anyone is seeing this too.

Once this is worked out, the game will be perfect in my eyes. I don't care if its unrealistic for players not to make bad decisions, I can only control one guy at a time and its impossible to expect me to be monitoring the offense and the position of every other defender and offender. I don't mind crazy shots going in or missing a excellent release but when I'm playing on-ball D and great shooters are just left wide open in corners it makes me rage.


I'd rather Westbrook drive and dunk on my team for 20 straight minutes than him drive and players who are in no position to help abandon their man for no reason and allow easy kick-out 3 pointers.

I was hoping this would be addressed, but it isn't obviously.

Lots of good things came with this patch though, I find it to be a net positive overall. I really am having fun with 2K this year even though it drives me up the wall sometimes.

So, I was out all day today and when I got home we had 4 on to play Pro-Am...

These are my reactions after 4 games:

Don't lose the ball anymore dribbling, at all. You can go right into the defense and the ball stays; they should've kept a balance but now we're onto the other extreme imo.

Can't hit shots to save my life, it seems like the already inconsistent 3's are even more inconsistent. Deadeye, Limitless Range, and Microwave and I'll shoot below 30% being wide open...nah, that's bogus.

My friend plays at center, has max inside scoring/athleticism/defense/rebounding.
He can easily grab 20 boards a game, but can't hit inside shots at all anymore. Has post move badges but is missing even on mismatches in the post.

Contact layups seem like they're completely gone, unless you're not near anyone I haven't seen anyone making any at all.

The worse parts now:

So many pump fakes getting called into fouls. I'm seeing hands up defense now being sucked into animations; not good at all. My friend got called on a foul perfectly contesting a 3 with no contact at all...it was almost hilariously bad.

Every person in the world can reach on a drive and get a steal. Stealing was toned down? But it's actually worse...makes sense.
I had 5 turnovers in a game, all off reaching on a drive. By a help defender...on the opposite ball hand.....but it's not a foul........riiiight.

The good?:

I have a little more control of my player.....that's it....literally.......

Wow yo, I don't think I've EVER had such a negative experience playing 2K in my life. Even the infamous patch 4 on 15 wasn't that bad too me. People were hitting everything but I just gunned right back..and I was always a good scorer.
I pray that this was just a fluke, and maybe the connection is off or it needs to be tuned a little more or SOMETHING...

But honestly yo, (IMO, key words) this is the worst patch I've ever, ever seen.
They've strayed so very far away from what I remember on day 1. I'll take all the crazy blocks from guards over what happens now any day. To me, this game out of the box was nearly flawless...I'm so disappointed in this game right now it's crazy.
