I think aholbert32 is saying that it is one thing to hope, wish, and even speculate (when you have this many TNT personalities it is hard not to speculate) that a license is coming but some people have their hopes so high that their hope turns into an expectation or inevitability. I think at this point is a an unrealistic expectation.

I mean it's been years since the whole "2k getting the TNT license" speculation has started and to me it's at a point where I think if it was going to happen it would have happened already. Unless to is just taking a slow approach where they slowly sign all of the TNT personalities to the point where TNT just says "well at this point you might as well have our brand in your game" amd cuts a deal with 2k.

I get that, and that is fair. But until 2K says definitively yes or no, what's wrong with hoping? Even if it's year after year. I mean, we do that with gameplay features. I haven't seen anyone going off because TNT (presumably) isn't gonna be in 2K16 and denigrating 2K for it. Not saying there isn't anyone, there's always "that guy". For the most part, people post respectfully, in the appropriate threads (not high-jacking off topic threads) and articulate their wants. It just struck me as odd how wanting something in game, and respectfully posting about it somehow constitutes being obsessive.

That's why people want him as a commentator so he can be used in 2K's rosters.

I doubt that would get it done. Remember this is the guy who allowed his likeness to be used solely on the Dream Team in 2K13 supposedly only at the prodding of Jay-Z. He did not agree to be used on any historical team and wasn't.

Moreover, license to be used as a TNT commentator and license to be used as a historical basketball player are likely two separate issues.

Oh I understand that completely. But people's perception is Chuck and Reggie are in the game as commentator/halftime guy, then at some point the '93 Suns and a Miller Pacers team (likely '00) will be in the game, solely because they are commentators.

Haven't read enough of the thread, but will post game highlights work on the PS4?

or has a dev chimed in on if this will work on the PS4? post game highlights that is. They have never worked on the PS4 past the 7 or 8 minute mark and they claim they couldn't fix it last year. So what makes one think this can be fixed or was it even on the priority list, since it's so low on the totem pole.
