I mentioned this in another thread, but I really hope they don't overdo this. There should be no hesitation of your player once you start pushing your sticks.

Sure, there needs to be momentum, but these guys are crazy athletes. They can switch directions and stop and go on the drop of a dime.

I'm hoping for better responsiveness from last year.

I know ive tweeted a milli9n times about on ball defense. I mean its so satisfying to lock someone up and not be punished for it. I couldnt even tell yall how much it pained me to be locking somone up and at the very end, the on ball stops for some odd reason and they get away scott free. Infuriating is an understatement ....im looking forward to this improvement the most next to online leagues (where we play on ball defense all the time) so salute, i hope im happy after gettin some games in...defense makes ythe offense run so much smoother imo. Let the users do they thang and ball out i say, how we supposed to settle thangs...2K Mike Wang, Scott, and the rest of the crew again im lookin forward to this. Thanks gr8 write up.

For sure. Also like to see rebounds being tapped back out to the perimeter.

Also, some bobbled passes, etc. Or if a guy is trying to swipe the ball from his opponent.

It seems like they made it so hot and cold streaks less about acquiring stats and perhaps a little bit more random in that certain parts of a player game isn't working . That is how he explained it. Should be real nice if it feels natural and increases a chance of a lower level role player providing a spark.

So usually I wouldn't believe all of this BS because it's 2K, but this actually looked really good, players seemed to have minds of their own and the atmosphere is great.

Another banner 2k year is upon us. Reading masterpieces like these dev diaries is why 2k continues to earn day 1 purchases, while selling consoles and remaining in my console year round. Other games need not apply. Oh you think I'm playing?[emoji38]

I'd be happy if I could see everything with my eyes before buying the game so you can judge and give suggestions which can help developers to modify, fix or do whatever they need to do in order to release a nice game.

Trust me..the 2k apologist/fanboy in me would've copped it if not for being consumed with college at that time lol. On a mission to find my dreamcast era 2k collection!

Mmmm, I still break out my College Hoops 2k8.

Load up a tourney with all-time great teams and go at it.

Or I play some games on my "coach" mode. Started at NC A&T, finally made it to UNC (damn retire already Roy) by way of Boston University, Air Force (1 championship; I had two 7 footers I rode all the way), Louisville (2 championships; after landing the #1 recruit in the nation from Compton, CA). Now working on an undefeated season with UNC.

Man I wish they could've kept that game going.

I don't think 2K themselves kept anything related to that game. I bet there's no sign of it in their office. If any employee got caught playing that game around the office, they would lose their benefits.

But hey, it worked out at the end. It might be the reason they had to hire Mike. Only one man could clean up the mess.

I trust Mike Wang, he means what he saids. I don't remember one scenario with him all these years where he blatantly introduced a feature that isn't anything like it in the game. I am grateful he takes time off his busy schedule to write these blogs. Is it marketing ? Of course. But you should really first find out what Mike Wang is about before you call him out for "just hyping" the game.
