NBA 2K16 Adds '04-'05 Phoenix Suns & '05-'06 Miami Heat to List of Classic Teams

2K Sports has just announced, on the GameStop Twitch livestream, they have added the '04-'05 Phoenix Suns and '05-'06 Miami Heat to the list of classic teams in NBA 2K16.

There will be 12 new classic teams added this year, 10 of them have now been confirmed.

Here is the list of confirmed classic teams so far:

• '04-'05 Phoenix Suns
• '05-'06 Miami Heat
• '12-'13 Miami Heat
• '03-'04 Detroit Pistons
• '07-'08 Houston Rockets
• '99-'00 Toronto Raptors
• '07-08 Boston Celtics
• '00-'01 Los Angeles Lakers
• '02-'03 Dallas Mavericks
• '99-'00 Portland Trail Blazers

The last two teams will be revealed next Thursday.

Very happy to see a Suns team but I wish it was one year later, but who am I to argue it's still a great addition and the 05-06 Heat are amazing too

Awesome news, that Suns team was the one I wanted. Very strange it's two classic Heat teams in a span of not even 10 years..

Two Heat teams? Very happy to have the 15 strong team. Had to have the '05 Suns too, one of my favorites ever( I rooted for that team like crazy).

very good news 06 dwade is his prime. Im hoping they have a younger looking nash for 05 and dantoni's coaching down so it feels like 7 seconds or less suns. Please no Amare with goggles too lol.

Nice! Gonna have fun with prime Amare running P&R and having Prime Wade/Shaq with the now announced ability to now have more standing dunks with post guys.

Don't get your hopes up about a Kings team, but at least we get Jason Williams. Hope he has some crazy handles and some unique moves.

Last two, probably a Nets 01-03 team that went to the Finals and Lakers 08-10 team.

Would have preferred the 06 Heat team and the 13 Heat team's spot given up to a more 'historic' team in terms of years ago

But 06 Wade will be fun, as well as the Suns
