I'm really excited about the 00-01 Lakers. Finally Kobe and Shaq their primes!

I also hope they can add KAJ to the 85 Lakers and I would like to see the 92-93 Suns with Sir Charles, but I guess if it were that easy, they would already be in the game.

Sir Charles will never be a video game again. We went over this earlier. Here is why:

This is correct. Back when 2K13 dropped, Chuck did an interview here in Chicago where he mentioned that he doesn't allow the NBA to use his likeness for anything because he doesn't like the way they treat the retired players of the league. He mentioned that he doesn't like that the retired players only get 10 percent (I guess of everything the NBA uses their likenesses for?) and he didn't think it was fair to only give the retired players 10 percent and he certainly wasn't going to do anything for 10 percent. So he explained that he told them that he'd do the deal and they could use his likeness for whatever they wanted if they gave him 50/50 and gave his share to the retired players association because he feels like he should give back to the people that opened the door for him and he doesn't need the money anyway. According to Chuck they told him that everybody else did it the other way and he told them he didn't care what everybody else did so he turned them down. Then he said that he got the call from Jay-Z and the only reason he agreed to be in was because of Jay-Z. He said they were offering him $50,000.

I think the term "Classic" is misused or overused here. In this case it means "Teams that don't exist anymore". But then again, "classic" is subjective, so it's up to each one of us to decide, I guess.

They are two of the best teams in Mavericks' and Blazers' franchise history. Both teams have some all time great players.

A team doesnt necessarily have to win a championship to be considered a "classic".

I guess that the correct term would be "Retro", right?

Especially that 94 warriors team. Hardaway and Spree were one of the best backcourts in the league. To bad Hardaway was out for the entire season and that tandem was short lived.

Has there been any talk of 2K expanding how we can use the classic teams? Like maybe online unranked quick matches like we could a few years ago?
