Re: NBA 2K16 Screenshots - Steph Curry, James Harden & Anthony Davis
All this graphics talk got me curious so I wanted to do a little comparing.
Lot of pics incoming.

Also decided to do some comparisons between 2K14 and 15 for DeRozan and Lowry along with some courts.

Forgive me if I don't take the lighting discussion as seriously as some of you. I do think things have been a bit too dark in arenas with 2K15 and would like to see them brightened up, but I find this current over pounding of the lighting issue and 2K's graphics laughable. Especially since I recall complaints about all the reflections on the court not being realistic and the jokes about all the light bulbs they counted etc. etc. in the 2K14 hype train after the game released.
This one certainly got 2K a lot of flack during 2K14's cycle

Now we're suddenly acting like 2K14 was complete perfection visually? Come on people.Comment

You may have a point, but I wouldn't go by this picture. It doesn't look natural. Someone played with the contrast and saturation and made it EXTREME. This jersey can be seen from the moon in the middle of the night. My Specs:

Are you sure the photo isn't flash photography? The flash always makes everything look brighter than it is.Comment

2k14 was definitely... shinier?
2k15 looks lots more realistic, especially the more "true colors" in the jerseys. Perhaps the wood could be lighter on the floors, but I don't really see a major lighting issue or anything I would consider regression.

The only thing I dislike is Davis's double chin looking skin.. Too many guys on 2k have it. Every created player does.

Re: NBA 2K16 Screenshots - Steph Curry, James Harden & Anthony Davis
We all thought the visuals were going to improve back in the 2k14 days, but obviously that's not what happened. The graphics somewhat regressed, thats what we are trying to say man.
Whether you like it or not, The shine and reflections made the game look that much better. Without it the game just looks dry and dull.Last edited by IGhostUlt; 08-06-2015, 01:27 AM.Comment

Re: NBA 2K16 Screenshots - Steph Curry, James Harden & Anthony Davis
Lighting has regressed a little not the CF's and Body types so that's only 1/3 of the " graphics "
Are we really going to compare every 2k16 pic to 2k14 ? Please don't cuz that's going to get uber annoying . LolComment

How is that going to get annoying? Why can't we compare?Last edited by IGhostUlt; 08-06-2015, 01:47 AM.Comment

Mehh I don't think so. I don't see over exaggerated shiny-ness when I'm sitting in the stands.

Re: NBA 2K16 Screenshots - Steph Curry, James Harden & Anthony Davis
Because mostly it's just over glorifying of an old game . Nobody wants to look at that every time a 2k16 pic drops , it's like every time Bron does something somebody is like " well MJ did this "Comment

Re: NBA 2K16 Screenshots - Steph Curry, James Harden & Anthony Davis
But the game only came out 2 years ago and it still does some things very well in the visual department. It's on the same console and everything. We are only holding it to a standard. So i don't see the problem.Comment
